There’s this trend on TikTok, of black people saying that black women who like white men have a certain look to them, to where they then describe a woman in her natural state, not clogging her pores with copious amounts of makeup, not suffocating her edges underneath tight fitting lace fronts, not constantly emulating bad bitch & being held back by the constraints of beauty standards, and I honestly think it speaks volumes of the unrealistic expectations black men uphold black women to, to constantly perform beauty & femininity, but they frame it as a poor reflection on the black woman who doesn’t feel the need to constantly perform in the presence of her white husband/boyfriend for some reason.
