The daily traffic jam in what used to be an express bus lane has gotten excruciating. @PANYNJ_LT, whatever you’re doing with routing of buses to tackle the new bus terminal construction, isn’t working.
The War of Art by Steven Pressfield ★★★☆☆ it's brief and easy to get through. An old cliche of sorts extoling the virtue of work for the sake of work itself. It's about labeling complacency which Pressfield dubs Resistance and finding ways to overcome it.
The Book of Elon ★★★☆☆ Eric Jorgenson's format, as in the Naval Almanack, is superb. The subject is harder to love. Musk is no simpleton, but his philosophy runs on a cold sum: each human is irrelevant, humanity as a whole is everything.

A year and a half ago we launched Listen, an AI platform for understanding customers, and it’s been a crazy ride ever since.
Today, we work with some of the largest companies in the world, including Microsoft, Anthropic, and Sweetgreen.
What started as an AI interviewer is now a full platform for understanding customers. Listen finds the right people, interviews them, analyzes what they say, and even simulates how they'll behave.
Listen’s growth quickly accelerated and while we were raising our next round, we met @Benioff.
Marc is a hero of mine. I've taken countless ideas from Behind the Cloud and watched him framemog every AI CEO on the planet. We're honored to get framemogged next.
With Salesforce, we can bring Listen to every company in the world, much faster.

A year ago, I struggled to believe that autonomous agentic software engineering was possible for large enterprises at scale (especially with lots of legacy code). The recursive self-improvement stories from OpenAl and Anthropic felt unattainable. Today, it's a fascinating reality. If you're still hand-crafting code, you're probably doing it wrong. Today, you almost have to be discerning enough to hold yourself back from building useless things.
So cool to visit with Dan O’Connell, one of Hollywood's most prolific sound professionals, with credits on more than 500 films spanning several decades. Foley (meaning he recreates physical sounds) for: Gladiator, Dune I and II, Oppenheimer, Barbie, Project Hail Mary, Alien, and the long list goes on.

The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand ★★★☆☆ very heavy handed. Almost Dostoyevskyian, preachy and far too drawn out. You can almost feel the St. Petersburg neurosis under the veil of the emerging modernist New York.
