Manchester United could reportedly be preparing another major shake-up behind the scenes, with INEOS said to be considering significant changes to the club's leadership structure.
According to emerging reports, both CEO Omar Berrada and director of football Jason Wilcox could face dismissal during the upcoming international break.
And the biggest surprise?
MANCHESTER UNITED LEGEND EDWIN VAN DER SAR IS ALREADY BEING MENTIONED AS A POTENTIAL REPLACEMENT FOR BERRADA.
The former United goalkeeper previously served as CEO of Ajax, gaining significant experience in football administration after his retirement from playing.
His potential return to Old Trafford would undoubtedly excite sections of the fanbase who believe the club needs people who understand its history, culture and expectations.
But here's where things get CONTROVERSIAL.
INEOS arrived at Manchester United promising to transform the club's football operations, improve recruitment and build a structure capable of competing with Europe's elite.
Yet the club continues to struggle, and now some of the very people entrusted with leading that transformation could reportedly be facing the exit.
So who should actually take responsibility?
The managers who have struggled to deliver results?
The players who continue to underperform?
Or the executives responsible for making the biggest football decisions?
Some supporters believe Berrada and Wilcox deserve more time to implement their plans.
Others argue that Manchester United cannot continue changing managers while the people above them escape accountability.
And there's another uncomfortable question.
IF INEOS APPOINTED THESE EXECUTIVES, WOULDN'T SACKING THEM ALSO REPRESENT A FAILURE OF INEOS' OWN STRATEGY?
No dismissals or replacements have been confirmed, and Van der Sar's name remains speculative.
But if these reports develop into concrete decisions, Manchester United could be heading towards another major restructuring.
SHOULD UNITED SACK BERRADA AND WILCOX AND BRING EDWIN VAN DER SAR BACK, OR WOULD THAT JUST CREATE EVEN MORE CHAOS?
