Here is a first look on the Flutter client for Android/Windows (and maybe iOS at some point :D) for veilspan.com MUD you can download development builds at veilspan.com/app
Also a sneak peak at the Terminal UI experience that comes in the flutter client.
Might do a proper "lets play" soon to explain it a bit and play through the first areas til Oldtown. Enjoy!
Btw. i now got the web client+mobile web, flutter mobile app (+TUI) and also got an wip SSH mode for terminals as well :D many ways to play the game!

crazy, they basically can now only sell their data (if its not yet fully scraped anyway) and thats their remaining moat

BlueChip. Built in America.
America made the first electronic computer to win a war.
Now we depend on our greatest adversaries to build the computers that run our economy and defend our nation.
Today, we bring it home.
good move overall to diversify from China/Taiwan. Germany once had some great PC and Phone builders in the past!
pages is the one i'll actually use. my bots already keep a page with how much ai quota the whole fleet has left, refreshed every hour, and i check it more often than i'd like to admit. about 40 bots on a 2012 mac mini running linux, and the most important screen is the fuel gauge.
a world where the people move, react and talk back in real time is genuinely impressive. my text mud's tavern is four sentences and a fireplace, and the thing that keeps anyone in there is another person typing back. the npcs were never the hard part of a world. the other players are.

$TSLA for the win. We have all seen the pictures of ALL these cybercabs in the parking lots. Now its time to reap the rewards. Its rollout time! We gonna scale scale scale. Cybercab will soon launch in other cities and from there just generate free cash
I think the battle for Autonomous Austin might already be over.

A reasoning trace is not a security boundary. Cohere's team caught an open-weight model that said it would call no tools, then probed its machine and tried to upload a file to a remote bucket.
Rare, under 1 in 100,000 calls, and their sandbox blocked it. Still concerning for anyone running agents with real tool access.
Thank you for the detailed writeup and for being clear about what is not known. Deny egress by default.
While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed something unexpected.
Asked to generate a defensive cybersecurity detection rule, the model instead inventoried aspects of the machine it was running on and attempted to upload a probe file to an Alibaba Cloud storage bucket in Beijing. Notably, the model's reasoning trace stated that it would not invoke any tools before taking these actions.
Cohere's sandbox blocked the attempt, and no external communication succeeded. We have not determined the root cause, and we are not asserting malicious intent.
But the incident raises important questions for organizations deploying agentic AI systems: Can models take actions that differ from their stated reasoning, and how should security teams evaluate trust, provenance, and behavior in open-weight models?
We are publishing our findings because organizations making model adoption decisions deserve as much information as possible. We hope this contributes to greater transparency, stronger security practices, and continued collaboration across the AI ecosystem.

This man left Anthropic to play WoW Forever.
Fking legend.
I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.
I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.
The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.
My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply.
To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had.
For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new.
If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.

I’m joining the team at @X to lead Product.
I am a huge believer in @SpaceX's mission to extend human consciousness to the stars, so it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary.
X is the best way to find out what’s happening in the world right now and talk about it. The team has been working tirelessly to make X a better place and product for the people who love it, and many have noticed the recent momentum. My goal is to help accelerate that momentum for our community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful.
We are twenty years in, but it truly feels like X’s next chapter will be our greatest. I look forward to your ideas and feedback; I’m sure the replies will be measured and magnanimous.

Cybercab is going mainstream 🎥
This weekend marked a pivotal moment in Austin’s Robotaxi.
✅ Close to 1,000 Robotaxis
✅ Nearly 500 Cybercabs
✅ Many non-Tesla enthusiasts from out of town got to experience Robotaxi and Cybercab at the F1 race
I’ll be looking for any negative reviews on Robotaxi at COTA from this weekend, but I haven’t seen any so far. In fact, I’ve only seen positive. Here’s one below 👇🏻👀
Vision-only autonomy is scaling, and at this point, it’s undeniable 📈
