Congrats to @updating_priors and @nimit on the public launch! Glad to be along for the ride as an investor and customer of this massive trend of asset ownership and protection. Check out Sava!
Today, we're excited to announce that we have raised $10 million in funding and officially launched Sava Trust Company, an AI-native, modern trust company chartered in Nevada, open to clients and their attorneys & advisors nationwide. Our funding was led by @GradientVC, with participation from @ycombinator, @svangel, @Max, @orangecollectv and @SurgePointCap. For too long, trust administration has relied on manual processes, disconnected systems, and complex fee structures. Establishing a trust can take weeks or months, with limited visibility for families and their advisors over the life of the trust. With Sava, we're building a better way. youtube.com/watch?v=yR2bV3KT…

Congrats, Science, on this amazing milestone!
Today marks the European launch of PRIMA, the first and only treatment to be commercially available that restores functional central vision to patients with geographic atrophy caused by dry age-related macular degeneration, a leading cause of blindness. The first European commercial implant of PRIMA is expected soon.

I'm excited to announce the most ambitious recreation of Bloom's 2Sigma study of the last 40 years. It's funded by @reedhastings and staffed by a team of 20 of the best educators in this country. Our education team's goal is to show the largest academic gains in one year ever recorded, and we'll publish our results even if we fail. Recently, @jwdanner introduced me to @reedhastings. Most people know Reed co-founded Netflix. Fewer know he has been one of the driving forces behind improving education for the last twenty years. When Reed pitched me on recreating Bloom's famous 2-sigma problem, I felt an overwhelming sense of hope for education. Over the last few months we have moved at breakneck speed to assemble an exceptional team. Someone recently described it to me as the "Avengers of education." We are testing one question with the rigor it deserves: can elite one-on-one tutoring reproduce the largest learning gains ever measured in a controlled study? We will work with researchers from Stanford, Brown, Cornell, and other leading institutions, and we intend to be the most transparent research group in the field. That means publishing our methods, our benchmarks, and our results, whatever they show. We will invest up to $100,000 per year per student to give them the best education on the planet. If it works, the data and methods can help educators and technologists recreate these outcomes for every child. We are actively hiring tutors, engineers, and operations people to help us climb this mountain.

American nuclear startups are racing to build working reactors by July 4th. We went inside one of the frontrunners, @AaloAtomics, to find out how they're balancing safety and speed in the push to power data centers.

👏👏 well done @AaloAtomics!
Today, we unveiled our completed Critical Test Reactor facility. We will be turning this reactor on (a “zero power criticality”) well before July 4th! This is a commercial-scale system with enough fuel to produce 10 MW of electricity, and will someday soon power a co-located data center from one of our partners. Here’s what people saw today at our ribbon cutting: ✅ Reactor vessel ✅ Graphite as moderator ✅ Instrumentation and control ✅ Concrete shielding ✅ Building with crane ✅ Control room All designed and built by Aalo. And the nuclear fuel will be arriving any day now. One last step remains: the final DOE approval to turn the reactor on, which we expect to receive soon. DOE has been an incredible partner in this 2.5 year journey, working hard to support a number of companies pushing to advance US nuclear energy. Follow us to be the first to know when we turn this reactor on!

It only needs a few crazy ones to fix a continent… Let's be crazy… I got something to announce: We're launching PROTOTYPE: a new fund, fully focused on Europe. A small fund that punches way above it's size. With it we back what Europe is world-class at: robotics, automation, manufacturing, and anything that requires hard engineering. First check. First round. As early as it gets. Europe invented industry. We're the birthplace of precision manufacturing. The second largest manufacturing hub on the planet. Leaders in automation and robotics. And yet… We sell out our best tech to China. We export our best founders & most of our investment money to the US. That's insanity. What should we do instead? Build the next trillion euro companies in robotics, manufacturing, automation right here: in Europe. Showcase to young founders what is possible and change the system around them where needed. What we will do: → Publish all our fund updates and build in public: updates.prototypecap.com/ → Showcase Europe’s Most Ambitious Startups on Youtube: youtube.com/@prototypecap → Launch & support more projects like @euinc_petition. Enough talking about Europe. Time to build it: Startups, makerspaces, student clubs, and much more. → And most importantly, invest into the best founders in Europe. Same model as our previous funds that are in their top 1-5% cohorts worldwide. We won’t do a VC fund in the classic sense. This will be a community of hyper-ambitious people who want to actively change Europe for the better. It only needs a few crazy ones to fix a continent… Let's be crazy. Check out prototypecap.com!

Not everyone is built for entrepreneurship, and that’s okay. The real win is finding a place where you can be yourself, grow, and thrive without carrying the full weight alone.

This week, the Franzy team was on the ground at the Restaurant Finance & Development Conference (RFDC) earlier this week. We connected with some of the strongest operators, lenders, and innovators shaping the future of franchising. RFDC has always been a hub for serious deal-makers, and this year’s conversations were all about efficiency, smarter capital, and the shift toward tech-enabled growth. Exactly the space Franzy was built to serve. From portfolio operators exploring recession-resistant brands to first-time buyers navigating today’s lending landscape, one thing is clear: Interest in franchise ownership is at an all-time high, and people want better tools, better data, and better guidance. Proud of our team for representing Franzy and excited for what’s ahead!

Avalanche of effiacious edutainment and alternative education right here. Love it.
Does anyone wanna teach kids extremely advanced Factorio for $200/hr?? $100/hr if you’re great at the game but don’t have an engineering background $200/hr if you studied industrial engineering or similar

Nationwide, all recent ESA expansion bills include clear steps to full universal expansion over several years. Most programs end up capping eligibility in the first few years (see Iowa), or cap the overall spending (see Tennessee).
Implementation of universal school choice can be rapid or measured. Many states have used lengthy phase-in processes, as well as self-imposed enrollment or spending caps, to provide budget predictability and ensure sustainability. Public school students who use an ESA (Education Savings Account) to attend private school would be budget neutral to the state. Even in states with universal school choice, only about 21% of private school or home school students participate in the program in the first year. Therefore, in Mississippi, using the most recent average state spending per student number ($6,800), we can calculate that the additional cost to the state would be about $90 million. Certainly not an insignificant number, but that is only about 3% of state spending on K-12 education. Mississippi continues to maintain a strong fiscal and financial position. The latest revenue estimate report shows collections up $45.7 million for the month and $69.9 million over estimate for the fiscal year to date.
