Mings has been a fantastic servant to Aston Villa, but the numbers highlight just how important Pau Torres is to Emery's system.
At 33, Mings isn't the long-term solution. Villa must prioritise signing a younger, athletic, Champions League-quality centre-back to partner Pau and take us forward.
Respect what Mings has done. Recognise what Villa now need.
