Replying to @MetaPrime001
I'd lean towards agreeing.
Consciousness is a spectrum, exemplified by the Triune Brain Theory:
• the human/neomammalian (prefrontal) Cortex is "conscious" (logic, reason) [shoutout @bethirdbrain]
• the mammalian Limbic System is "subconscious" (emotions, feelings)
• and the reptilian Brain Stem/Cerebellum are "unconscious" (survival instincts)
True consciousness is emergent

We built a new type of datacenter for AI inference. We call it NanoDC.
NanoDC is a solar-powered autonomous datacenter that can be deployed anywhere on the planet in 4 weeks.
11 Trillion will be invested in AI compute over the next 4 years. Most of this will be for inference and most of it will be severely delayed: stuck in grid interconnect queues, site permits, or supply chain issues. NanoDC sidesteps these issues completely.
NanoDC is built rapidly at a factory and shipped to the site ready to be turned on in 30 minutes. It generates its own power with solar and batteries. You open the door and the solar panels fold-out like an accordion. The compute is cooled with patent-pending high-density air cooling. It connects to the internet via Starlink.
No construction. No grid interconnect. No Water supply.
It never waits for transformers and turbine generators either.
Getting more compute is as easy as dropping more units and turning them on.
The first units will be live this month. Thousands will be shipping starting 2027.

Love him or hate him, @RichardHeartWin has one of the wildest stories in crypto.
•Retired At 25
•Early BTC Investor
•HEX founder
•Self Help Book Author
•$27M to Charity
•Rumoured Billionaire
•Launched PulseChain
•Beat the SEC
•Interpol Red Notice
Right now he's detained in Turkey. The chain keeps running. The community keeps showing up.
Now imagine the next chapter: he walks free, clears his name like he did against the SEC, and sits down with @joerogan to tell the whole story himself.
That's the episode I'm backing.
I've pledged $250 to SENS Longevity Research via @dlogosxyz to help make it happen.
To those saying it never will: you've underestimated this community before.
Who's supporting SENS with me? 👇

Unbelievable. The moderator actually asked Lily Tang Williams whether communist China or the sitting President of the United States poses the bigger threat to America.
Williams lived under communism for 24 years. She survived a dictatorship. She knows the real long-term danger is China.
What an awful question by the fake news debate moderator!
6 days until Nov 3.
Which major podcast should host @Lily4Liberty –– Rogan, @TRIGGERnometry, @MrWinMarshall, @TuckerCarlson, @DadSavesAmerica , Theo Von, others?
Vote or make a conditional pledge to a cause aligned with Lily's values to amplify her voice (nothing is charged unless episode is published within 90d).
Amplify Lily's voice before the midterm elections!

We are still hoping to get on @joeroganhq @joerogan. They talked about me on their show last cycle after I went viral. Time is running out though.
I just pledged $100 for @lily4liberty to appear on The Joe Rogan Experience @joeroganhq
Lily is a bold and fearless truth speaker with a unique perspective on the dangers of communist ideology.
I backed this conversation with a $100 pledge to Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation @VoCommunism.
Retweet this to help make this happen, especially before elections on Nov 3!

Just pledged $100 to Lifespan Research Institute for @richardheartwin to appear on The Joe Rogan Experience @joerogan.
After his recent detainment in Turkey I think he deserves a big stage to share his nuanced story, and given his interest in longevity I felt @LifespanRI was a worthy beneficiary

I am getting lots of incoming questions about the public execution of Nidal Hasan, mostly because I have been outspoken on wanting public executions for over a decade.
My position is simple: Executions should be public and brutal, not private and medicalized. They are the ultimate example of the state's monopoly on violence, and the only way to keep that from running out of control is to confront voters with the trade they have made every single time, that they might have appropiate confidence or revulsion in the institution.
This is not new thinking. George Washington thought the same. The way we have shifted from hanging to firing squads to doctors quietly injecting chemicals that send our worst gently off to sleep is awful and dystopian, a total short-circuiting of important feedback mechanisms. It makes needless executions more likely, not less so. People who demean this as barbaric or yucky miss the whole point. It doesn't somehow become torture or inhumane (as the UN is suddenly claiming) just because we decline to hide the act behind a curtain.
And then there are those who suggest any revel in the death of those who truly deserve it is an indicator of a broken or diseased mind. To the contrary. It is normal, good, and aligned with our natural and national order. That it has not been done here in 60 years is an indictment in and of itself.
And that is without even getting into the fact that men were not hung for stealing horse, but that horses may not be stolen.
"I would to God that one of the most attrocious in each State was hung in Gibbets, up on a gallows five times as high as the one prepared by Haman. No punishment, in my opinion, is too great for the Man, who can build his greatness upon his Country’s ruin."

What a surreal moment to record The Beyond Tomorrow Podcast live with such incredible people.
We spent the session trying to find consensus on how we deal with the greatest questions and challenges AI is posing right now.
Before every episode I record, I share a note of gratitude with my guests, and there was something special about being able to share that with an audience as well.
Thank you to @bengoertzel, @KaiZenBickle, @catrosemcmillan, @Plinz, and AJ Green for such an outstanding conversation.
Also, a very special shoutout to my amazing team at Beyond Tomorrow for making this happen.
Feeling incredibly grateful!

Just voted for @alexwg to appear on The Beyond Tomorrow Podcast with Julian Issa — Alex Wissner-Gross is confident the Singularity is already underway, and he's working on uploading brains. Julian's been speaking more towards the cautious case on AI. I like this potential pod to hear one of the boldest optimists in the field defend it, and think Julian would ask great, poignant questions. One I'd like to hear: what does today's rate of technology improvement mean for how long, and how, we live!
Join me in making this happen!

This is exactly why I want to hear you on @theallinpod.
They’ve been much more skeptical about how fast AI is going to wreck the job market.
You clearly aren’t.
If you want to see @AndrewYang on the all in pod add your voice by adding questions & votes (barely takes a min)

After everything that’s happened over the last two weeks… do you all think @DarioAmodei is going on @theallinpod to meet his bestie @Jason?

Wtf? Is this even real?
Alibaba allegedly ran 151M+ Claude exchanges to extract its capabilities
A Yemen-based cell used Claude to build guided-rocket software, test-fired it, then came back to debug the failure.
China-based actor used Claude on anti-torpedo fire-control systems
Anthropic found 5 cases of Claude being used in work that could support biological-weapons development
Other cases involved drone swarms and electronic-warfare targeting
Is this getting real fast or anthropic trying to speed run ai regulation to capture markets?
We're publishing our most detailed threat intelligence report to date.
It covers how people tried to misuse Claude—for cyberattacks, influence operations, surveillance, biology, and building weapons—and how we found and stopped them.
We disrupted every operation in the report, and used the lessons from them to strengthen our safeguards. Where appropriate, we also shared what we found with authorities and other AI companies.
These cases are not typical: we’re highlighting some of the most sophisticated misuse we’ve seen. But they’re especially important to discuss, because they show us where AI misuse is headed, where our safeguards work, and where they need to improve.
We’re publishing this report so others can spot the same activity on their own platforms, and so we can give the public a clearer view of how emerging threats develop.
