mump2p is live on Ethereum mainnet Block data now moves 2-3x faster, and $3.4B of ETH stake is already boosted Any node operator can plug in for free Huge one for @MurielMedard and the whole @get_optimum team
The Optimum team is pleased to announce our first mainnet deployment, mump2p on Ethereum. With mump2p, data moves across all of Ethereum 2-3x faster, boosting validator performance and network health. $3.4B of Ethereum stake is already being boosted by mump2p, and we’re now opening up free access for all Ethereum node operators.

Sadly, Community Manager @blockchainjeff is leaving the @get_optimum project. We really hope this is part of a bigger, well-thought-out plan that will lead the project to success. It's truly sad to say goodbye to someone whose voice we've all gotten so used to on the AMAs..

📢 Makers Pay $0 on @predofficial Under Pred's published fee model (marked as launching soon in the docs), there are two ways to get into a trade: ➜ Taker: takes an order already sitting in the book and gets filled right away. Pays a small fee. ➜ Maker: places a limit order at their own price and waits. When someone trades into it, the maker pays nothing. Why it's built like this Resting orders are what make an order book deep, and deep books mean tighter prices for everyone. Pred's docs call deep liquidity and near-zero spreads the main goal. Beginner version No rush to get filled right now? A limit order costs nothing to place, edit or cancel. pred.app

Play the Optimum 3D Halloween Runner: tubular-gnome-497411.netlify… I built something special for the @get_optimum community. Not just another running game. I wanted to bring the Optimum ecosystem to life in a 3D Halloween world. Welcome to the Optimum 3D Halloween Runner. 👀 Here's what I've added to the game: 3D Endless Runner:- Run through 3 lanes, dodge obstacles, jump over blocks, slide under flying ghosts, and switch lanes to survive as the speed keeps increasing. Power - Ups & Special Abilities:- ➜ Collect Optimum tokens and build your TPS combo up to 5x. ➜ Grab rare ETH pickups for increased speed and double points. ➜ Use the Validator Shield to survive a collision. ➜ Activate the Mempool Magnet to attract nearby tokens. ➜ Ride the Hoverboard for 12 seconds and survive a hit. ➜ Find the ultra - rare Optimum NFT to unlock Rambo Mode. Combine its powers with the hoverboard and smash through obstacles. 🎃 A Full Halloween Horror World:- This isn't an empty running track. I've added haunted castles, glowing pumpkins, creepy witches, skeletons, tombstones, zombie hands rising from the ground, dead trees, spiderwebs, bats, floating blue ghosts, and eerie Halloween decorations. The sky features a glowing moon, dark purple and orange tones, lightning flashes, distant thunder, fog, and a giant rotating Optimum ring. Optimum Everywhere :- Optimum-branded buildings, glowing server nodes, banners, flying rings, data streaks, and sparks bring the ecosystem to life. The Community Is Part of the World:- I've added 169 community avatars across blocks, railings, and floating cubes, with priority community photos featured throughout the run. Watch Your Back :- A zombie chases you from behind. The first collision brings it dangerously close. The next one can end your run. Immersive Sound & Progression:- Dynamic background music, token collection sounds, jumps, collision effects, zombie growls, and thunder make the experience more intense. Every 500 points brings a new Epoch, bonus rewards, and changes to the world's colors. Beat your best score, earn your rank, compete for a place in the top 3, and share your run on X. I wanted to combine my love for gaming, creativity, and Web3 into something the Optimum community could actually experience. A lot of small details went into building this world, and there's more to explore than just running and collecting coins. Now the real question is... How long can you survive in the Optimum Halloween world? 🎮 Play now: tubular-gnome-497411.netlify… @TheBl0ckBoy @get_optimum #Ethereum #BoostedMeme

What do validators and traders have in common? The need for speed. 🏎️ @blockchainjeff explains how Optimum's speed boost is already giving validators an edge, and why the trading sector is our next target.

Did you get your enrollment key in the @get_optimum Console yet? I got mine! And to be completely honest, I quickly spun it up in Codespaces first just to test the waters and see what’s what. But after digging deeper into the docs and network architecture, I immediately moved it to a dedicated VPS. Here’s why: Let’s be real for a second: if you genuinely want to support the protocol rather than just clicking buttons for the sake of it - forget about Codespaces, Colab, or running it on your daily laptop. Why running a P2P gateway in transient sandbox environments does more harm than good: 1. The mesh hates "blinking" nodes. Optimum’s P2P mesh (mump2p on port 33213) handles live Ethereum Mainnet blocks every 12 seconds. When a node flickers online for 15 minutes behind Codespaces’ janky NAT and then vanishes, it doesn't help the network - it just creates topological churn and useless reconnection overhead for 40+ live peers. 2. The real value is 24/7 telemetry. The gateway runs with telemetry flags enabled. For Optimum's engineering team, every stable node acts as a live probe streaming continuous data on connection quality, transit latency, and RLNC matrix convergence across regions. A laptop that goes to sleep or a sandbox that times out produces zero useful telemetry. How to do it properly in the exact same 2 minutes? Throw it on any dirt-cheap $3–$4/mo VPS: • The gateway is completely featherweight: no 2TB SSD or 32GB RAM needed like with a full Ethereum node. • It sips ~300MB of RAM and barely scratches the CPU, running smoothly as a background Docker container with --restart unless-stopped. • All it really needs is a stable connection and a persistent IP to keep mesh peering solid. (A quick console pro-tip: default keys are often minted with a 24-hour expiration. Take a few extra seconds in the key settings to set the validity to 1 year so you don't have to deal with re-enrolling every single day). There are no leaderboards, no referral links, and no point-farming here. But if we believe in the technology and actually want to make a real contribution - let’s do it the right way. @MurielMedard @kentlinyy @blockchainjeff

gmum fam You've probably already heard that @get_optimum is hosting The Boosted Meme Competition: Halloween Edition over on Discord. I already have my TurboCard, but I really wanted to take part in the contest too. 🔲So @baisedit and I decided to make things a little more interesting. We're both taking part in @get_optimum official contest, but we've also started our own friendly meme battle. And this is where you come in, friends. 🔲You get to decide which of us did a better job. @baisedit is still hunting for his TurboCard, so I'm definitely rooting for him in the main contest. But in our little battle, I'm not going to make it that easy for him. Before voting, make sure to visit @baisedit and watch his meme too. Give both videos a fair chance, then drop your vote in the comments using emojis: 💀Baised 👻Tynar Let's see who wins this little Halloween showdown @blockchainjeff #BoostedMeme

From Question to Proof: How Fermah Kernel Runs a Workflow @fermah_xyz published a walkthrough of autonomous workflow execution, built around one simple example. The problem Most oracles rely on a multisig of operators, a single trusted data feed or a network whose behavior is hard to audit. None of them can run custom logic. A developer who needs that has to run a server and ask smart contracts to trust it, which brings humans back into the loop. The example The blog uses an illustrative question: did ETH cross $3,000 within 24 hours, according to a majority of three independent sources? ➜ Intent: a contract requests a workflow and payment is escrowed ➜ Validate: types and branches are checked before any cost is incurred ➜ Execute: three price feeds run in parallel every 15 minutes, a median node combines them, and the workflow ends early on a positive crossing or after 24 hours ➜ Attest: the result is hashed, signed and published on-chain with proof of correct execution Why it matters A workflow is deterministic, so the same inputs always give the same outputs. Anyone can check a result against the workflow definition. AI agents can help compose workflows, but they never run them, so no LLM sits in the execution path.

gmum everyone I've spent months talking about milliseconds with @get_optimum. Now those milliseconds have found their way into something everyone would want in their wallet 🔲Meet TurboCards 999 soulbound NFTs created to celebrate Optimum's mainnet launch on Ethereum. Each card represents a real Ethereum slot where @get_optimum helped a block travel faster across the network, with stats showing how quickly it moved and the economic advantage that came with it. 🔲And here's where things get interesting. You can't buy one. You have to catch a code through X, Discord, community calls or partner quests. Once minted, that card stays with your wallet forever. A little piece of @get_optimum mainnet history that you get to keep. And I'm happy to say I was among the first to get my hands on one. Now I've got my own little piece of @get_optimum history in my wallet. @blockchainjeff @cryptooflashh @samurai_itan @vssema11
gmum fam There's a big difference between proving a technology works in tests and running it on Ethereum with real validators. @get_optimum has crossed that line. 🔲mump2p is officially LIVE on Ethereum Mainnet And we're already talking about serious numbers. 16 node operators, around 22,000 validators and over 1.4 million ETH in active stake. Early mainnet measurements show blocks propagating 2–4× faster than GossipSub. I've been following @get_optimum for a long time, watching the research, testing and partnerships gradually turn into something bigger. 🔲Now that technology is running in production, helping real Ethereum operators receive blocks faster. What makes this even more interesting is that Ethereum doesn't need to change its consensus rules to benefit from it. The improvement happens in how data travels across the network. For months, we've talked about how much a few milliseconds can matter. Now we get to see what those milliseconds mean on Ethereum Mainnet. Huge congratulations to the entire @get_optimum team

999 cards. each one is a real ethereum slot. @get_optimum made turbocards to mark their mainnet launch, and they made them the smart way. instead of artwork about speed, they took actual blocks they accelerated in the first days of running, and turned each one into a card. what is on it: ● the slot number - a specific moment in ethereum history ● latency - how many milliseconds the block took to arrive ● speed boost - 1.7x, 3.3x, 4.8x. depends on the slot ● bid uplift - what that speed was worth in money the frame is not just decoration either. copper, silver, black iron, gold. inside sits a cube glowing its own color. the thing i like is that these numbers cannot be faked or redrawn. the block either arrived in 99ms or it did not. the card just records what happened. soulbound, one per wallet, free to mint apart from gas. codes drop in twitter and discord. i have not caught mine yet. but i will keep hunting, because i want a card with a decent speed boost, not just any card. @get_optimum @blockchainjeff @cryptooflashh @kentlinyy @ChandlerOtterbe @MurielMedard @samurai_itan
