No10 is briefing that I say PM's #NetZero plans lead the world. That's true but I also predict they won't happen cos of lack of cash, PM's belief that tech will prevail, and his love of HS2, roads, oil, Cumbrian coal, beef, SUVs and flying. bbc.co.uk/news/science-envir… @GeorgeMonbiot

Is the UK's green plan enough to halt climate change?

Support for roads, aviation and fossil fuel drilling could undermine UK's green credentials at COP26.

The UK is hosting the UN’s global climate summit this year. It’s time to step up climate action at home and push other countries to do the same. Sign the @oxfamcampaigns petition oxfam.org.uk/climate-justice

Frames for paperpulp vessels in plant mobiles are made using waste materials. Nylon offcuts from jewellery I made in 90s has been used to make one frame #recycled #design #sustainable #artisan #handmade #eco #interiordesign #interiorstyling #houseplants #sustainablebusiness

Activists from @drop_BP occupy the @britishmuseum tonight to call on the museum to end fossil fuel sponsorship and create an artwork by covering their body parts with quick drying plaster. It will look awesome by morning. #BPMustFall #DropBP

. @NorfolkCC exposed yet again. If they can't afford this road-building madness in the 1st place, how can they even consider recklessly ploughing on with the W Link Rd. #SaveWensumValley edp24.co.uk/news/politics/no…

3 things all humans deserve to know: 🔺Arctic ice will soon be gone. This will have a huge impact on all life on Earth. 🔺War is not inevitable, beneficial, or necessary, nor is it a fixed part of human nature. 🔺Corporate media won't discuss system change in a meaningful way.

Note the complete lack of an answer to one of our member’s questions to cabinet. It is an outrage that @NorfolkCC gets away with this. @martinwilby our veteran trees are an irreplaceable habitat for bats and biodiversity net gain is thus not deliverable.
