Every religion says do this, do that, try harder, and maybe God will accept you. The Bible says you can't earn it, but you can receive it as a free gift by faith. #AllThingsNew #ReformationDay #SolaFide #Romans1

Jim Parker was a good man, took us out to eat at nice restaurants, often ate with us in the dining hall, spent time discussing whatever we wanted to discuss. I was in one of his shepherding groups and took his intro to philosophy class. He will be missed:
Dr. Jim Parker, former @SBTS prof. Graduate of Trinity, Princeton, Basil, and John Hopkins, passed away early this past Saturday morning. Dr. Paker will be missed. He was a genuine treasure. And interestingly enough, I inherited his personal library.
The measure of your discipleship isn't how much people need you. It's how much they can do without you. #AllThingsNew #RaiseUp #ALLinForChrist #Discipleship #GlendaleCaveMill

The next generation isn't just learning theology. They're reading your face. Bitterness says "look what life cost me." Joy says "look what God has done for me." #AllThingsNew #RaiseUp #ALLinForChrist #Psalm145 #GlendaleCaveMill
Guesstimating nearly 500 people walked through the Trunk or Treats at Richardsville Elementary’s Fall Festival tonight, and these folks were awesome hosts. 37 families registered with our QR code, 19 of them not in church, and 7 of them looking for a church. And 20 families gave prayer requests. Don’t look now, but God is growing his Old Log Church:
People read us more than they read the Bible. Your life is either an invitation or a barrier, and someone is watching. #AllThingsNew #BringIn #ALLinForChrist #GlendaleCaveMill
Most people won't be argued into the kingdom. They need to meet the King. Your job is just to say "come and see." (John 1)

When you start seeing Time, Talent, Treasure, & Testimony less as what God wants FROM you and more what he wants FOR you, your whole world will be turned upside down.
You'll show up more, serve more, give more, and share more, because the Father reserves the best gifts for his children.
