Wow. The rules state play should have been stopped after the ball hit the camera cable just before England's goal. Mark Clattenburg says that this IS a reviewable play for VAR and they missed it.

On the play that led to England's equalizer, the ball hit the FIFA sky cam before the goal.

This is essentially what happened to Cristiano Ronaldo. FIFA got rid of two of his three match suspension (which would’ve bled into the #FIFAWorldCup) for one year (a probationary period) before it all started.

FIFA statement here confirming Balogun’s suspension has been “suspended” so the #USMNT striker is free to face #Belgium in Seattle on Monday

Wait a second. Ronaldo has never scored a knockout round goal? That had to be a mistake right? No way that’s true

Soccer is ridiculous because I just saw a good goal get called back for Croatia because it happened to touch his hair or something.

Idk how you can watch Hornets last season and call him unserious he was one of the most impactful players in the league

Lamelo is fun. But he’s also an extremely injured, mostly unserious and inefficient basketball player. Under 41% from the field last two seasons. 42% for his career. GP in his career: 51-75-36-22-47-72. Not giving up the moon for him.

Is it a coincidence that there was a tarps off moment in the arena and we scored two goals immediately after?
