my deepest darkest kinkiest most fucked up fantasy is that there’s a hospital with all the doctors I need in one spot and they all communicate and are truly invested in me and work together and figure it out and I get better. and its $35

does anyone else’s brain stop working the second the sun goes in??? seasonal depression about to hit me like a TRUCK
it’s not been a cure by any means, but i’ve started taking antihistamines every night and have experienced maybe a 5% of relief from my symptoms- which is a win. i wanted to experiment more before sharing anything & getting my hopes up but yah
This is a small case series of patients with refractory neuropsychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD and more, who experienced significant improvement after subsequent diagnosis and treatment of MCAS.
While the average person still thinks that histamine for example is just something related to allergies, let’s not forget that histamine acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain, influencing things such as arousal, attention, mood, sleep, and motivation.
So when levels build up it can create:
-Restlessness and physical + mental hyperactivity
-Difficulty concentrating, brain fog, inattention
-Irritability, impulsivity, or agitation
-Sleep disturbances (insomnia or poor sleep quality)
-Anxiety or sensory sensitivities
-Hyper arousal
-Racing thoughts, anxiety/panic, or restlessness
-Insomnia or disrupted sleep cycles (common in manic phases)
-Depressive symptoms (fatigue, brain fog, low motivation) during crashes
-Emotional lability or energy fluctuations
Of course, we don’t pull all these out of our asses.
There are more reports noting that histamine flares can mimic manic/depressive episodes, and MCAS patients sometimes receive initial bipolar diagnoses.

if autism is fake, then why does every autistic woman know the extremely weird and specific sensation of not feeling like a girl, cause they don't even feel human?
not even in a depression-makes-me-never-wanna-do
-anything way,,, but in a normal human way, whenever i think about doing embroidery i HATE the idea of it. but when i actually do it i fucking love it. it’s literally my only portable hobby. literally crafting on the bus rn. 10/10
autism is so funny. what do you mean my hands are shaking and my breathing is a little whack all because i’m starting work three hours later then i have every other saturday since this time last year. like i know changes in routine is our kryptonite but this is just silly
got home, had a nap (more like a second sleep lol), now i’m having a hot as fuck bubble bath. feeling blessed and filled with love. enter shikari have truly changed my life and given me the community i’ve always dreamed of.
personally i think free london accommodation and getting to see someone who never leaves the house ✨actually leave the house ✨ is payment enough (i will also accept cold hard cash)
I swear @battymoth should get carers allowance for being their ability to get me: out of work, at a show on time, at barrier, and make sure I only have a mild meltdown throughout it all 🥲
