But let’s take ALL the money away from ALL billionaires worldwide and divide it equally to all citizens of earth… As a little thought experiment: If you collected all the wealth of every billionaire on Earth and divided it equally among every person alive, each person would receive approximately $2,480. ONCE Here is how the calculation works based on current global financial data: The Calculation Total Wealth of All World Billionaires: ~$20.1 trillion ($20,100,000,000,000) held across approximately 3,428 billionaires worldwide.  Global Population: ~8.1 billion people. BUT Illiquid Assets vs. Cash: The vast majority of billionaire wealth is not sitting in cash bank accounts. It exists as equity/ownership in companies (e.g., Tesla, Amazon, LVMH, Microsoft), real estate, private technology holdings, and factories. If you forced a sudden sale of all those assets to convert them to cash, market prices would crash rapidly, resulting in significantly less total cash to distribute. So it would be more like 1200.-$ for each citizen on earth. Would receiving 1200.-$ once change peoples lives?? No it would NOT. So instead of thinking emotionally and through the lense of envy try to think rationally. Logically. For once.
