I see Blues have relaunched the black/grey 'Cup kit' from 1995/96.
First worn against Plymouth AT HOME on 15 Aug 95.
They didn't get round to telling Plymouth, the League or the ref & kits weren't meant to include black.
Fair to say the authorities weren't best pleased!

When Liam Millar came on for Canada last Sunday, he became the 150th Blues first-teamer to be capped whilst at the club.
Since Caesar Jenkyns became the first in 1892, it has taken 134 years & 42 nations to get there.
Here's to Big Jhon making it 151 & 43 tonight. 🇨🇴

To anybody who doesn't think pink belongs on a Blues kit ... you'll never guess what we wore for the first two games of the 1902/03 season (Leicester away & Man City at home).
You should have seen the telegrams of outrage!!! 😀

Now we're good at corners again, do we start singing "C'mon You Blues" each time we get one again? 🤔
It felt like this was standard for donkey's years (particularly attacking the Tilton) and I'm not sure when it fizzled out.

Tony Mowbray is a great of football. An individual who has overcome great personal loss and oozes compassion.
This might be one of the most remarkable ways I’ve ever seen football keep someone in the game 👏
Former Middlesbrough and Burnley player Gary Parkinson suffered a devastating stroke in 2010 that left him with locked-in syndrome. He was fully conscious, but unable to move or speak.
Yet his football brain was completely intact ⚽️✅
So his former teammate and then-Middlesbrough manager, Tony Mowbray, found a way to keep him involved.
Gary would watch footage of potential signings and, with help from his family, give his scouting verdict using between one and four blinks.
That detail is incredible 🙌
Today, two of Gary’s former clubs, Middlesbrough and Burnley, face each other, with supporters being urged to get behind fundraising for his 24-hour care.
Football gives you far more than a job. For so many people, it becomes part of who you are.
Never be too quick to judge what somebody still has to offer ❤️
