Russians have released drone footage of them dropping a multi-ton guided bomb on a school in Zaporizhzhia, setting it to pop music.
This strike killed over 30 people.

Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.

Independent voters powered President Trump’s comeback victory in 2024.
Last night, they voted to hold him accountable after two years of disappointment.

The GOP needs to reclaim our Reagan principles. Voters rejected populism, chaos, Putin and tariffs.

Americans don’t like chaos, narcissism, tariffs, corruption, Putin, rudeness to our allies, arrogance & indecency. The GOP should embrace our roots: free markets, economic freedom, peace through strength, federalism, law and order, low taxes, pro-life… and we should act like leaders of the free world.

I've been impressed with @jamestalarico as a politician and person since I first heard him speak more than a year ago. If Democrats can align with his model of governance coupled with responsible policy, and if the @GOP can learn the same, our future is brighter.
.@JamesTalarico: We didn’t win by alienating our neighbors, or by shaming our neighbors, or by ridiculing our neighbors. We embodied a new kind of politics. A politics rooted in a deep love — for our state, for our country, and for all of our neighbors.
My faith teaches me that love is the strongest force in the universe.
Love is not passive. Love is not neutral. Love is not weak. Love requires that we stand between the bullies and the bullied. Love requires that we look evil in the eye and not blink.
Love can heal what’s broken in America.

I’ve heard reporters say that tonight is the most dramatic midterm election in a couple decades.
To me, it’s the most significant party turnaround since 1974.
From Texas to South Carolina to Ohio, voters saw life in America today and found it difficult and disappointing.
Congratulations to tonight’s successful Democrats. You've been given the right to lead, and it's now up to you to prove that you deserve it. #Midterms2026 🗳️

After the Biden era, Americans wanted an economy that worked for them. Instead, they received a hastily executed war, headline after headline of scandals, a ballooning $40 trillion debt, and unpredictable tariffs.
It’s time for Republicans to return to the principled conservative values that once defined us—and that we've steadily abandoned over the last decade.
Trump lost this election. Musk and his $474M in contributions weren't enough to change the will and mind of middle class families all across the country. This is democracy! The MAGA and Liberal wings of both parties are not what the majority of American's want.
Sister missionaries, including my daughter, serving near St Louis enjoyed the Gateway Arch Museum along with the Zoo. Fun prep day for these young people who are sharing the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Incredible that we have 95,000 young missionaries around the world.
Happy Election Day. Get out and vote. Thanks to @DeidreHenderson for making Utah elections safe and easy. And here is to the color green, not red or blue (my sock selection for the day). Vote for candidates who will stand up for you. Integrity, character & dignity matter.
There are options to reduce healthcare spend for groups if employers are willing to think outside the box, and roll up their sleeves.
Important chart from @EconBerger
Healthcare costs are soaring again for employers (and frankly for most Americans). Take a look at the green line on the chart.
A key reason employers aren't eager to boost wages right now is b/c they are paying a lot more toward healthcare costs.
"Wage growth is being outpaced by benefit cost growth. And a major recent driver for benefit cost growth is employer health insurance contributions: they’re growing at 6.4% Y/Y, matching the fastest pace in two decades." - Economist Guy Berger

“Growing up, it was always God, family, and baseball. There were a lot of late nights practicing, a lot of traveling, and sometimes it was hard to get to church. But my parents helped me build a foundation on a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“I always had a testimony, but I hadn’t read the Book of Mormon all the way through. I believed what my parents told me. They’re really smart, and their testimonies are strong. Then I got drafted, and I thought, ‘All right, I probably need to read this for myself.’
“One of the guys I was drafted with shared my faith. We became roommates and studied the scriptures together. As I read, I received personal revelation. That’s when my testimony really became stronger. I could see Heavenly Father’s hand in putting someone like that in my life.
“Reading helped me strengthen my testimony, and living what I believed gave me more opportunities to recognize His hand.
“My mom had talked to me about tithing before I even had a job. She told me about the blessings she’d seen and encouraged me to pay it. So I did. As I’ve kept that commitment, I’ve learned that the blessings can be physical, too. For me, being able to play baseball at my best is a blessing I connect directly to paying my tithing.
“Playing at an elite level still has its ups and downs. After a good year, I had a rough year. Sometimes you’re asking Heavenly Father, ‘Please help me,’ and you forget how much He’s already helped. Looking back helped me recognize the opportunities and blessings He had already given me.
“That same commitment to living my faith carries into how I take care of myself. Living the Word of Wisdom is a choice I made early. I’ve never wanted to drink or smoke. In high school, I watched people try vaping, get addicted, and struggle to stop. I didn’t want to find myself in that situation, and I’m grateful I made that decision before I ever started playing professionally.
“So when we were celebrating with the team and there wasn’t any sparkling cider, I opened the fridge, saw some Fanta in glass bottles, and grabbed a couple. I didn’t even want to hold alcohol because I didn’t want to give the impression I was drinking it. Then everybody started sending me pictures of their Fanta.
“Reading the Book of Mormon, paying my tithing, and living the Word of Wisdom are commitments I carry with me. As I’ve lived them, the foundation my parents helped me build in the gospel of Jesus Christ has become stronger through my own experiences.
“Heavenly Father has really shown His hand in my life.”
