@beneathbluster

During lockdown I kept a diary of all the incompetence, lies & mismanagement of this Tory government. It is now a book. Lest we forget, it is all in here!

Agreeing a lot with Gillian Keegan today on @GMB “You don’t keep talking about what you might do IF you are re-elected, 3 years our” “You use your time NOW to do things NOW.” Like Starmer was doing - fastest CURRENT manifesto delivery in 2 years EVER. @SkyNews @LBC

The Spectator gets it. 👏 'When a politician (Burnham) says that they want to have an “honest conversation”, there’s things to take note of One is that announcing your intention to have a conversation, honest or otherwise, is a way of avoiding having the conversation here & now'

And he's supposed to be the "great communicater" ! Verbal incontinence is a dangerous attribute in a PM.
Chaotic lobby briefing eventually clarifies that just because Andy Burnham said he would hold a referendum before reviving free movement with the EU, that does not mean he will

We need to have an "honest conversation" about exactly how shite the "comms" of this bungling buffoon really are. The only question about the No.10 clarifications that have to be issued every time he speaks is, are they coming from No. 10 Norf or Sarf?? Clusterfuck

Agree. Burnham is coasting, trading on all the detailed drains up work SKSs government undertook. All big decisions kicked into GE29. He definitely has time in his hands.

No one can accuse Keir Starmer of not working and not delivering. Facts are facts.

We had a leader in Sir Keir Starmer. He got on with the job in hand of serving our country in turbulent times. What have we now? Scaremongering liars. Backtracking Burnham. He is not fit to be PM. Getting us to panic buy and we don’t know why!!

He seems to have more time on his hands - than KS ever had. I guess because Starmer was focused on the job in hand - and completed over 70% of the manifesto in less than two years. Yes he made mistakes -but he did the hard yards. AB just seems to drift - throwing out GE29 teasers

I'm certain by now that most people have realised that apart from a few Dad moves on the dance floor we don't have a get up and go Prime Minister Quite the opposite. We have a very nervous man afraid of upsetting Trump and just about everyone else. He wouldn't say boo to a mouse.

@GMB Burnham is nervous, twitchy and very unstatesmanlike He literally is saying now he’s “not going to have a referendum” But is looking for a “better deal “ EXACTLY what Starmer was doing in his resets with the EU and summit delayed in June BECAUSE of Burnham coup. @LBC

Freedom of Movement isn't just about immigration. It's about entrepreneurs, investment, skills, innovation, business creation and opportunity. Treating it solely as an immigration issue is like discussing the internet solely in terms of how many people use it.

BBC-Oh look they have found AB dancing,how lovely,it's so good of the media to be so nice to the treacherous PM.I will not forgive Labour or the media to bring down KS.Why is there not an investigation about that?

In some parts of the BBC it barely made it into the news. For example @BBCr4today
Why have the deaths of over 43,000 care home residents at the hands of inept politicians gone off of the news media so quickly? Shouldn't we be hearing about at least two people being taken into custody by now.

Freedom of Movement didn't just allow Europeans to come to Britain. It allowed British entrepreneurs to start businesses across Europe too. British workers could follow opportunities. British firms could recruit expertise. Why discuss only arrivals when it worked both ways?

Why aren't Boris Johnson, Matt Hancock and Helen Whately not under investigation for mass manslaughter? @andyburnham The fact that they aren't is deeply unsettling. Are government ministers immune from prosecution? Do we have no protection against government misconduct?
