I wonder how many thousands and thousands of legitimate usable @Apple iPads there are out there that are now useless junk due to lost passwords and accounts… strangely enough my mother with dementia has no idea what her account or password is…
Modern Britain. Wheeling my disabled mother around @cityoflondon Burnham Beeches for a bit of fresh air, going through a ridiculously complex logging in system to park in the disabled bay and a £70 Pure Park fine lands on doormat. Nice way to treat disabled people 👍

Serious question, the dentist I’ve been registered with forever apparently doesn’t have an NHS dentist anymore so I go private or nothing. I’m in Normandy for a week innSeptember, is it worth looking up one there assuming the pain doesn’t get unbearable?
My 83 year old dad is a bit senile. He signed up to @virginmedia without knowing what it was. We were aghast at the £160 monthly subscription he’ll mostly never use. We cancelled it and moved to a £30 EE one. Virgin have now sent him a termination bill for £1,500 @MoneySavingExp
And the enshittification continues - even in areas you wouldn’t believe… the three tomato plants in the left are in an expensive tomato growbag. The fourth one on the right is in some soil I dumped in the gap. It’s double the size of the tomato grow bag ones…
