Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10. Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years. Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

AI is forcing everyone to upgrade their security. Short term pain, long term gain.
So the private-key for the eMudhra (revoked) intermediate was apparently 4. How is the root still trusted? How broken are your processes if this can happen? And honestly: How have we (as an industry) not noticed earlier :(

Steve Davis and his team deserve almost all the credit for @BoringCompany progress. My role is providing engineering thoughts here and there, getting some permits unblocked and crazy merch ideas.

Pumped about getting this official bdk-dart 1.0 out I started bdk-dart last year and it’s been cool to see how multiple bitcoin projects played a big part in it like @payjoindevkit folks with uniffi-dart & @BULLBITCOIN_ adopting it early on. And then obviously none of this happens without the OG BDK devs and I’ve also loved seeing all the new devs on the other side of the world from me making their first BDK contributions thru bdk-dart.
2026 Q3 Update: What Have We Been Up To? bdk_wallet 3.2.0, bdk-dart 1.0, bdk-cli 4.0, and more! bitcoindevkit.org/blog/2026/…

Imagine IF — Day 2, Nashville. Something interesting happened on the second day of Imagine IF. A US Senator and Tennessee’s economic development leadership talked about why certainty has become one of the most valuable currencies in attracting investment. A Congressman responsible for energy appropriations and a senior US Department of Energy official discussed what it will take to move from roughly 100GW of American nuclear capacity towards a much larger nuclear system, while removing the permitting and transmission bottlenecks standing between capital and new generation. The CEO of a major Bitcoin miner explained why his industry is increasingly moving towards AI infrastructure, and why the most valuable asset is no longer necessarily cheap electricity. It is certainty about when the power will arrive. Then an energy entrepreneur turned the question around. Instead of asking how much energy Bitcoin consumes, he asked what happens when an interruptible buyer of electricity makes previously stranded generation economically useful and whether that can help finance the next layer of infrastructure. Africa came up. Hydro with unused capacity. Remote energy resources without sufficient demand. Gas discoveries too far from markets to justify the infrastructure required to commercialise them. His argument was not that Bitcoin solves all of this. It was more interesting than that. A new kind of buyer can change the economics of what gets built. Later, the Human Rights Foundation explored another form of infrastructure entirely. AI that could give a dissident, investigative journalist or human-rights activist capabilities previously available only to well-resourced organisations or governments. Sitting through all of this, I kept hearing the same question underneath conversations that appeared to be about completely different things: How do you turn latent capacity into useful capability? America has capital, technology, energy resources and enormous demand for compute, yet much of the discussion was about the coordination layer between them: permitting, transmission, financing, community consent, skills, regulation and institutional certainty. That should make those of us thinking about Africa curious. Because Africa does not lack resources or problems worth solving. We have energy that cannot always reach demand, people whose capabilities are constrained by institutions, capital that struggles to reach productive opportunities, and extraordinary technological adoption occurring around infrastructure that was designed for another era. Perhaps the opportunity is not simply to copy America’s AI buildout, its energy system or its Bitcoin infrastructure. Perhaps it is to ask a more fundamental question: What becomes possible when we get better at coordinating what we already have? That question will follow me out of Nashville. And I suspect I’ll be working on it for some time. #ImagineIF #Africa #Energy #AI #Bitcoin

What an exhilarating experience at Imagine IF Nashville—to be among and meet such brilliant minds with so much heart in the AI, energy, and Bitcoin spaces doing the work to create a more free, more prosperous world was just beyond. When prompted to describe Bitcoin in three words, I’ve described it as a ā€œtransfer of power.ā€ To my husband and me, it’s been a tool to reclaim our independence and humanity from authorities and systems who wield power through economic leverage and social control. And my favorite moments of Imagine IF were the talks and conversations about how Bitcoin—and now AI—are being enabled to meaningfully transfer power back to the people and individuals at scale. To the dreamers and builders in the AI, energy, and Bitcoin sectors; to the rebels and dissidents taking a stand against centralized power; to the connectors bringing them all together and broadcasting their amazing work—thank you. Onward. h/t @bitkite (LEGEND), @bitcoinpark_ @aifreedomlab_ @tangents_d, those volunteering and working the event, and the many stellar event sponsors @ARKInvest, @HRF, @fedibtc, @unchained & @Bitkey
