Vampires probably relate to humans the way humans relate to vegetables: some you care for, some you nurture, and some you pull out of the ground, chop up, and turn into fries. #showerthoughts
I struggle a lot with passion projects, especially in #gamedev, and with sticking with them. I genuinely don’t know how other people do it.
I think I finally realised why that keeps happening, so I wrote down my learnings on going from vibes to vision: foxlog.dev/blog/from-vibes-t…

This is an extremely well made video of @getsentry's Unity support. Congrats @bitsandfoxes and everyone else involved in Sentry for Unity!

I've watched ~20 people play at this point and the rewarding thing is: it's somehow a legit fun game and people are trying their best to win.
Hoping someone break's Ash's current top score of 44,043 today.
I love how #dotnet "workload restore " takes a hot minute to do whatever it is it's doing just to hit me with an "Inadequate permissions" error. Take your time little buddy.
Wait what: `dotnet workload restore` actually does a thing and not just breaks horribly, forcing me to fix it manually?
Yay! I dug it up and it still works! Kinda! All I had to do was fix all the things that broke when updating to a newer version.
Oh, and I was in the middle of some huge refactor. And then just stopped. That did not help.
But it works!

I'm pretty sure I gave up on all my projects because they were missing a proper game design document (and definitely not because of crazy scope creep and overengineering)
So here we go! Feast your eyes on #gamedev/#gamedesign perfection!
That's not quite how Pong works with what moves and all but I got hit detection working in my little Pon-Go clone! 😁
