how to use boat.dev?
tell this to your agent:
"onboard me on boat.dev till we have a first VM up and then build a QA bot that sends me a fast demo video & report when I send a msg describing a feature on telegram, & can do multiple in parallel"
Introducing boat.dev
the VM sandbox with the fastest CPU
and the lowest price per hour
ideal for long-running or always-on agents

@boatdotdev and deepseek v4.1 flash is the ultimate combo
both so cheap/fast that i been spinning up like +10 sandboxes and like 100 dsv4.1f agents at once
and it barely costs $20

@boatdotdev is an amazing service and it's massively undersold. So I'm going to list everything I love abt it
- spinning up a vm takes 1.3 sec, and forking a running one takes 3
- insanely good dx on snapshots. set a box up once and every new one boots from there
- you can build android apps. gradle, kotlin and java are there, and an android 14 image comes preloaded to run them on
- you can build windows apps. wine runs .exe files, and you can boot a whole windows 10 vm inside it
- there's a desktop you can access over vnc at 60 fps
- computer use for u agents built in. including a screen recorder
- every harness is already installed: claude code, codex, cursor, opencode, pi, kimi, vibe, hermes, openclaw
- agents know how to spin up more boats(life changing)
- basically every language is ready: node, bun, python, go, rust, java, kotlin, .net, ruby, php, elixir, r
oh also i guess it's cheap asf
dude just spends his entire day redesigning landing pages
new landing page to showcase how boat.dev offers the best cloud VMs for agent fleets at the best price!
inspired by Finland & Poland (where boat V1 was built), ANSI art, and now featuring some customer logos
made by parallel grinding design for 4d on 60 boat VMs
for anyone wanting to migrate off railway for cloud VMs, sandboxes, CI
at boat.dev we're up to 23x less expensive at scale
our VMs have 99.95% uptime
we offer the highest perf CPU in the world
we have a great CLI for agents to migrate you off in a day
An urgent notice from the Railway team

if you need even better scrapping/browser use capabilities in boat VMs, this is the way to go
Ladies and gentlemen, You can now use @nottecore browsers inside @boatdotdev sandboxes ⛵️
→ Run your agent harness in boat sandboxes
→ Spawns 100s of ultrafast browsers with Notte CLI
→ Agent can access any site with best in class stealth
→ Keep browser stuff off your VM RAM and CPU
Your agent runs in boat. Its browsers run on Notte. 🫡
what $1,000,000 on AI sandbox providers gets you
1. boat.dev: 12,400 vCPU, 24,800GB of ram 24/7 for 1y
2. daytona: 1,400 vCPU, 2,800GB of ram 24/7 for 1y
3. railway: 768 vCPU, 1,540GB of ram 24/7 for 1y
using boat you can scale 16.5x more on the same budget!

you should do the inverse graph too
for the 1m$ how many cpu and ram do you get haha
our cloud VMs for agents at boat.dev have the best customers
turns out the most powerful, permissive, and scalable solution on a budget appeals to people at the frontier
so glad to be able to showcase these amazing boatmaxxers on our new landing dropping today
epic
Manual testing is dead
@mausbot_ just generated a 79 page report with screenshots and user journeys
it simulated different user personas and clicks on a @boatdotdev virtual machine
powered by @trycua computer use
all running on Claude Sonnet
Insane
you're right
boat.dev is the temu of AI sandboxes
> undercutting everyone by 4x to 18x
> made in a 3rd world country overseas (France)
> the entire internet keeps talking about it
oh except we also top performance benchmarks
but ignore that
you can save millions on your sandbox / cloud VM bill
our daily billable usage on boat.dev cloud VMs recently crossed >10k vCPU, 20TB of RAM, 128TB disk
here is how much this costs yearly on other providers:
just finished doing a review of a relatively large pr for a new feature on @canvasdotreview
need to record a better video but basically there’s now two way communication between canvas agents and the agent running in whatever terminal/desktop app you use in building the pull request
you can collab on reviews with the builder agent (in terminal, has all the context) alongside canvas agents (fresh eyes, ready to answer all your qqs)
this pr will enable you to run canvas tasks on cloud vms rather than on your mac via @boatdotdev
we’ll find out if it works when nü beta is released

how I defend your boat VMs from pirates

this is how you should be stress testing your product before a launch
you spin up multiple bots with their own unique personalities on @mausbot_
give them their own @boatdotdev computers
then let them loose on your product, all at once, each attacking it from a different angle
and you watch every one of them on a live canvas
find what breaks before your customers do
