Back in my first year of university, I had this friend who was a real Rastafarian. This guy would stroll into our morning classes smelling strong ganja that the entire lecture hall would instantly get high! 😂 But the real mystery was during (CATs). While the rest of us were sweating blood, this man would finish his paper in exactly ten minutes, pack his bags, and leave. I genuinely thought he was a hidden genius. Whenever we hung out, he’d passionately break down his grand master plan to relocate to Jamaica and live among his fellow Rastas.Then came the long holiday. After that break, the man simply vanished. He never showed up for second year. His phone went off, his WhatsApp messages stopped delivering, and he wiped his entire social media presence off the face of the earth. To this very day, absolutely nobody knows where he went. He just disappeared into thin air like a ghost.I still think about him sometimes. Honestly, I’m always torn between a few theories: did he get locked up because he was also the campus ped? Did the weed finally take him to an alternate dimension? Is he actually living his best life in Jamaica right now? Or maybe, just maybe... he was promoted to Glory. I sometimes even try to watch new Jamaican riddims to see weather he became a vixen or a producer and might be enjoying cool life somewhere in an island while am posting nonsense here to entertain you here. Moral lesson;A true peace often requires completely cutting out the noise of "Babylon" the conventional, chaotic world to unapologetically pursue your own version of paradise.
