Our recent preprint on fast, approximate (and provably accurate) computation of linear mixed models for #GWAS is out! We propose that for biobank-scale data, one can get GWAS results in hours using matrix sketching on the GRM and log likelihood computations. #Genomics

Great to see our collaborative effort from @IBMResearch on a generalizable #PRS that transfers across ancestries in large biobanks getting accepted to #PSB23! All you need is any precomputed PRS and FairPRS will give an unbiased and ancestry-corrected PRS! #PrecisionMedicine
Very happy to announce our IRM for PRS manuscript got accepted to #PSB23 🕺🧬 Personally, I'm very excited for the chance to combine #causality (or at-least causality-inspired ML) with #genomics. And even more thankful the team was as excited. medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
Our new preprint from @IBMResearch on FairPRS, a domain-adaptation based algorithm to predict generalizable PRS which can be transferred across populations is now available in @medrxivpreprint! #genetics #prs

Excited to present our latest work from @IBMResearch on #race vs #Genetics in clinical decision-making at the Equity-focussed research track at #ISMB2022! We show how genetics can mitigate systemic bias in race-correction algorithms in #healthcare! #healthequity #socialjustice – at Wisconsin, USA
