MSM can't keep ignoring France đŤđˇ
France is one of the handful of countries that shaped the modern world. For about three centuries, from Louis XIV to early 1900's
.. it was one of, if not the dominant power in Europe for culture, diplomacy and military.
French was the language of diplomacy and the educated elite.
Now it's being burnt to the ground.
Belgium, Spain, Germany and Italy are following suit.
And it needs to stop.

This is where facts meet feelings in the comment section
It cannot be understated: our broken immigration system has caused high unemployment, high home prices and high inflation. It must be fixed and provincial rights strengthened.
Today, the Prime Minister got a copy of our referendum questions including the 9 on immigration and constitutional reforms. If Albertans give us a strong mandate on these questions, our government will get right to work on these needed reforms.
And as Iâve said many times, please vote for Option 1, a strong Alberta within a united Canada, and yes to the rest! đ
Bob, I say this with respect. Somewhere along the way you lost the plot.
Come downtown with me. Any day. Ride the TTC, take a walk down Queen West, the street that used to be the coolest strip in the country and now looks like a plywood showroom.
Then look me in the eye and tell me Toronto's on the right track.
I'm not angry, I'm disappointed. You've lived here for decades. You know what this city used to feel like.
Right now 35% of Torontonians don't feel safe walking their own neighbourhood after dark. Subway delays are up more than 50% since 2019, and "disorderly behaviour" is one of the top reasons.
Even after the numbers came down, the city's own count found more than 12,000 people experiencing homelessness last fall.
And on Queen West, shops that were there for decades are gone, and the boarded-up windows are what's left.
These aren't talking points. This is people's everyday. So I'm asking for real: get on the subway, walk those blocks, and tell me what you see. Toronto deserves better, and so do the people who live here.

22-year NHL veteran.
First-ballot Hall of Famer.
The all-time leader in goals. Stanley Cup, multiple Harts, Rocket Richards, and basically every scoring award the league hands out.
Alex Ovechkin announced his final season.
Toronto Star: âRussian announces this will be his final NHL season.â
Thatâs not a headline. Itâs a choice. Lazy, pointless framing that treats one of the greatest players the sport has ever seen as a nationality first and a person second.
It doesnât inform anyone who already knows who he is, and it doesnât help anyone who doesnât. It just rage-baits the timeline.
This is why people stopped trusting the papers. Not because every story is wrong, but because too many of them are written like thisâsubstituting a loaded label for the actual name of a 41-year-old who has spent his entire career in Washington and holds the NHLâs scoring record.
You can separate the player from geopolitics. Plenty of people do. Reducing a first-ballot career to one word doesnât make the coverage sharper. It just makes it weaker.
Just because he wants to live where he was born after his career. This is the choice this writer made.
This writer needs to be replaced by AI.
They've resorted to making their craft about ideology for what purpose?

A 10 year old daughter was sexually assaulted and murdered.
That kind of evil doesn't deserve a second chance, and his punishment will never fit the crime.

Carney gave the NYT an hour of time -
No Canadian outlet received an hour.
The closet was 30 minutes.
Why? đ¤
Mark Carney just sat down with the New York Timesâthe paper many Democrats treat as their house journalâweeks before the U.S. midterm elections
His message: Donald Trump is unpredictable and dangerous. Canada has even studied the far-out risk that the U.S. might use military force. So Ottawa is buying fewer American fighter jets, relying less on Elon Muskâs Starlink satellites, talking more to China on trade, and trying to depend less on the U.S. dollar. At the same time he says he still talks to Trump and a trade deal is possible. That is useful for Democrats. Their midterm pitch is: Trumpâs tariffs and fights with allies raise your prices and make America look chaotic. A respected former banker saying it from Canada makes the argument easier to sell
Who wins: U.S. Democrats trying to take Congress, future Democratic presidential hopefuls who have been meeting Carney, Carneyâs image at home as the guy who stands up to Trump, and the New York Times. Ordinary Americans paying more at the store, and Canadians still selling the U.S. most of its imported oil, are not the ones getting the flattering write-up
The Times never mentions Maia Johnson. She is an American who worked on Hillary Clintonâs campaign and later around Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Carney hired her to advise on U.S. strategy, then made her chief operating officer of his own officeâthe most powerful staff job in Ottawa
Simple version: the article paints Carney as the calm adult managing Trump risk, and skips the fact that a U.S. Democratic campaign veteran is now helping run his government and the Trump file
Tell the New York Times: if youâre going to lecture America about reliability, say who is actually sitting in the Canadian prime ministerâs office
That is a pretty serious omission @MatinaStevis @SangerNYT @tylerpager @colbyLsmith

They sent our guys into the worst of it on purpose. Dieppe. Ortona. Juno. The Scheldt.
The Netherlands. We hit Juno Beach and drove farther inland that first day than anybody else landing. Almost a thousand dead at Dieppe so the next one wouldnât be a massacre.
We liberated a country that still ships us tulips every spring because they remember who actually showed up. In the air we built the only all-Canadian bomber group in
Bomber Command and those kids flew night after night with a coin-flip chance of coming home. Ten thousand of them didnât. Thatâs not a supporting role. Thatâs the bill.
Eleven million people. Over a million in uniform. Forty-five thousand graves. And some columnist just figured out Canada is a âpower.â

Honest question - which of these Countries specifically, embody our "Canadian Values"?
What are those values and laws?
Trade diversification important for a sovereign economy. But this seems more like selling assimilation rather than an arrangement. Which would be counter intuitive to the sovereignty question
Even though đ¨đŚPM said this would strengthen our Sovereignty.
The idea of EU associate partnership as a strengthening to our severity is absolutely wild.
Seeing how since the formation of the EU. Each country has seen irreparable damage economically and socially.
So if our "new" bedfellows are like us. Then let's check the data. This was a simple search of ai, that checked the 10 biggest red flags of joining the Current EU.
đ¨10 things a Canadians would be shocked to know about the economic status, the liberal values and laws of the EU.
Some are shocking. All are real... take a look
1. Cumulative real GDP growth since nineteen ninety-nine: seventy-six percent in the US versus forty-six percent in the EU.
2. Fifty European unicorns relocated to the US; only one American unicorn moved the other way.
3. No European company built from scratch in the last fifty years has reached a hundred billion euros in value.
4. Sixty-three percent of rape convictions in Sweden from two thousand to twenty twenty involved people with a migrant background.
5. Non-Germans, about fifteen percent of the population, account for forty-one percent of violent crime suspects and thirty-nine percent of rape suspects.
6. EU household electricity costs roughly thirty-four cents per kilowatt-hourânearly double the US average.
7. The EUâs foreign-born population has roughly doubled to over sixty million since two thousand.
8. Net migration hit four point two million in twenty twenty-two, with asylum applications still near nine hundred thousand a year.
9. EU industrial gas prices run four to five times higher than in the US.
10. EU tech firms face around one hundred laws and two hundred seventy regulators.
Let me know what you think?
So run towards something historically declining - run away from something that historically is outgrowing Canada and the EU.
All for a new world order, where order seems to be left of the menu.... Economically & Socially
Jesse Kline: The EU is made up of advanced western countries that share our liberal values and have similar laws
