SCOOP: The Trump administration is considering an executive order that would list some nonprofit organizations as having terrorist ties, a move that would immediately suspend their tax-exempt status and cripple their operations.
Officials are reviewing an arcane law that would allow President Trump to use an untested part of the tax code and write an executive order declaring groups linked to terrorism. Those groups would then automatically lose their coveted tax-exempt status.

🚨NEW: Venmo suspended the account of alleged Trump shooter Thomas Crooks at 4:41 a.m. on July 14, 2024 due to "unusual activity," according to the latest batch of FBI records released in response to @JudicialWatch's FOIA lawsuit. The would-be assassin's body was still on the AGR rooftop at this time.
Venmo said Crooks could resolve the issue by submitting a photo ID, so it seems like this might have been unrelated to the Trump assassination attempt--unless people were trying to access his account or something. Crooks's identity had only been public for about 4 hours.

BREAKING: DOJ assistant AG for civil rights Harmeet Dhillon has resigned following Democrats' midterm sweep, according to Fox News.
The announcement comes as Secretary of State Marco Rubio is also considering resigning, according to The Independent.
"Former officials said the [DOJ] is bracing for multiple other top political appointees to exit in the lame duck period before the New Year," Bloomberg reports.
Up to five cabinet members are reportedly considering leaving the Trump administration.
