I don't add bananas to my smoothies. Why? Not because bananas are bad (I love bananas). They contain polyphenol oxidase, an enzyme that can break down polyphenols. And studies suggest that when you add banana to a blueberry smoothie, you may absorb fewer of the beneficial polyphenols from the berries! So instead, I use avocado. It gives the smoothie the same creamy texture with the bonus of monounsaturated fat in avocado, which can increase absorption of carotenoids like lutein and zeaxanthin from kale - nutrients important for eye and brain health. I talked about this recently on my appearance on The Mel Robbins Podcast.

We all know AI has a "taste" problem. We measured it. It’s (somewhat) fixable, but AI judges can't replace human creative judgement. Introducing Design Crit. New research from @contralabs_ai and @world_lica, now live on @arxiv

Quick PSA: Zo doesn't sleep. Already paying for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini? Plug your keys into Zo and it just runs on what you've already got. Stop paying for tokens twice. Go to Settings > AI > Providers to see what other LLM subscriptions Zo supports.

seriously wtf. One day just became obsessed with a product. 4 years later there’s hundreds of kilograms of that product, freshly picked off trees just sitting in front of me, getting ready to sell millions of it this year shower ideas into reality
I don’t see people talking about how nuts you have to be to build a brand from nothing You have to be insane Think about it… you have an idea one day in the shower and then you just bust your ass for years only to have a tiny percent-chance at success? No sane person does it

Since pretty much the start of the year I've been hiring a personal assistant, with both of us having access to the same Obsidian and the same context. That assistant wasn't a person itself though, it was AI (specifically Claude Code). And if you're willing, I'd like to build a similar personalised version for you! ••• Here's what this means... 1. We take a no-obligation intro call (link in the post below), where we talk through what you're working on at the moment and how you hope that AI integration will be able to help you 2. If you're a fit, we'll have a deeper audit call, then I'll go away and build the scaffold of an AI agent (complete with its own second brain ready for your vault, and then we go face-to-face again so I can walk you through the initialisation and set up in your own vault. 3. We coordinate async for a month following this setup, where I can provide video support to help you start off with your new agent on the right foot. I also provide instructions to your agent to help it teach its processes and function to you, so you can iterate yourself, faster. Following this, I answer all queries through email as well, and am on hand for repairing and putting out fires for no extra cost. 4. After this official period, also, we also have rolling monthly support available for a smaller recurring cost (think the same as previously, on-demand async video support), and one-off in-person video calls available too ••• Who this *is* great for - first and foremost, someone who recognises the leverage that AI-enabled PKM systems provide. The agent isn't a magic want, but it's near impossible to deny now that they're useful, so long as you use them in the right way. The agent is infinitely malleable and connects to all tools that have an API built-in (Myself, I use it alongside @kit, @zernio and @stripe amongst others at the moment, with interest in doing so with other tools in my stack soon). Therefore, it works great if you're a professional, creator or in academia, in equal measure - I've worn all of these hats myself, and can integrate your use cases into the insight I've gained in such places, as well as my newer ideas and experience using AI inside Obsidian. Who this *isn't* great for - if you're looking to use a different tool than Obsidian for the notes, or if you're looking for a more complete AI-native consultation for your career or business. We're working with personal note-taking and context management for now. If you're interested, there's a link on the landing page below this post to book your no-obligation intro call, so we can learn more about your situation and whether we can work together. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and how I might be able to help! Talk soon, -- Theo P.S. This is a new(ish) service, and the first time I've made it properly public. I've got two spaces open now before I raise my starting prices, so don't miss your chance just because you don't book in!

PARAZETTEL V5 is live! We've integrated a Claude Code agent (with its own second brain) into the template, and built an entire new course module to help you get it up and running. But, here's the catch... I've got a lot on my plate right now and as it stands, I want to be able to focus on new projects, rather than being sucked back into marketing the PARAZETTEL template the same way I have for years now. This means, at the end of this weekend, I'm going to be closing access to the vault, for good. It was a hard decision to make, considering that it's the one mainstay in the 'business' side of my PKM and note-taking teaching, and has been for the last three years, but at the same time, I feel lightness. It's like shedding skins, stopping sharing a product that I've taken through the last almost-three years in the past, so that bigger and better things can follow. I contemplated keeping the template and course available, but the attention suck to continue to market it whilst it's proven to work feels like a different version of a comfortable complacency trap that I don't want to get stuck in. And with three years of info business experience (compared to absolutely zero when I launched PARAZETTEL for the first time), I'm sure that once the book's published I'll be able to move on to building more useful and profitable offers. It's just navigating past the uncertainty that's going to be the hard part. But it's exciting! ***However, we're still open for you to grab the main template before the end of Sunday, and you can access everything that I've built for PARAZETTEL in the said last three years as a one-time purchase bundle, to have access forever! Find out how underneath this post...***

The Quad Short was always great, but we made some slight changes to make it even better. We're always looking to improve the quality of our gear at Wayve & we actually implement the feedback we receive. A couple of cool improvements ahead of the 5/5 restock: 1) Liner adjustment - We fine tuned and added some extra space in the back side of the merino liner. - Some of you mentioned that the fit was too snug, and these changes fix that without compromising on performance or aesthetic of the short. 2) Tag Updates - Most people probably don't even notice this, but we updated the tags on the outside of the shorts. - All tags are 100% cotton, but (now) they are consistent throughout the care label, main tag, and exterior tag. 3) Fresh Colorways - Not really an "improvement" but we've gotten tons of requests to bring back Cacao & Pine. - So, they're back... These will go live on the site on Tuesday May 5th. See y'all then 💫 (p.s. we have more coming next week 👀)

My friend Luca and I made a deal this morning - we're not stepping away from our laptops until we get our first paying customer. So this is me trying to make that happen. About a month ago I met Luca in Da Nang, in Vietnam. He's part developer, part trader and hobbyist writer who mainly wants to get better at the latter So he built a tool solving this personal problem, as much startup advice seems to suggest doing. It's called ProseLab. You read a passage from a classic author, study an analysis of why it works, then write your own version from a prompt. That's the whole thing. Just gets you thinking about what makes writing land - the words, the structure, the effect. We've been building it nonstop and I'm handling the marketing, which right now is mostly just telling people it exists and that it's worth trying. Pricing's still early-bird, making it a good time to get involved. I'm confident enough in it that if you try it and don't like it, you can email me directly at theo(at)parazettel(dot)com and I'll cover your subscription out of my own pocket. The link to try is in the post below this one!

Today I went to @VIVOBAREFOOT ‘s flagship store in Tokyo. It was incredible. It goes to show that your weird/niche brand in an up and coming market really can make it. Even to full scale flagship locations in some of the coolest cities in the world. I’m so happy to see Vivo succeed, I’ve taken their shoes around the world twice now.

Spent the last fortnight with @brookslagle in Da Nang... It exposed me to the power of being 'in it together'. Even though I have zero regrets of how I've done things before this, I got more done spending time with Brook than in the seven weeks leading up to it! Find ya someone on the same wavelength who you can lock in with...
