The majority of Canadians don't know Mark Carney, so they've concocted an idealized version of him based on the little they do know—He's an experienced central banker so he can straighten out our budget and be a steady hand on the wheel! But he's bad on the mic, has never campaigned, easily flustered, has very questionable ethics, out-of-touch, a poor debater, elitist and barely even Canadian. His cabinet is shit and they're not drawing any new, credible people to prop him up. Oh and pollsters are deliberately over-sampling liberals in order to shake the consensus of inevitability surrounding Pierre Poilievre. It's a Poilievre majority. Despite comments to the contrary, Carney won't hang around in parliament. He has to say that he will but he won't. CPC 200+ seats.
