Discovery meeting.
Still in discovery.
Buyer inertia doesn’t kill deals. Committees do.

Not every deal dies loudly.
Some just… stop moving.
If you're a sales rep, you know this moment isn’t rare... it’s familiar.
I turned that feeling into a single image: Buyer Bingo.

I turned buyer inertia into a cartoon you can download free.
If you’ve ever waited through internal delays, or “just one more review,” this will feel uncomfortably familiar.

The buyer was moving with urgency…
right up until it mattered.
A customer who signs same day - with no changes - breaks the normal laws of enterprise buying.
That’s why it looks like a unicorn.

Most deals don’t get killed.
They just… stop moving.
That’s buyer inertia.
This piece is about that moment:
when effort is real, progress feels earned,
and the deal simply refuses to move.

Sales:
Thank you for sharing the “opportunity.”
(It’s really a goldfish cracker.)
Every rep has lived this.

Sales doesn’t always stall because something went wrong.
Customers hate change.
So I turned that moment into a cartoon.

Customer signed same day.
No changes.
Just… approval.
I turned this rare moment into a cartoon. Because when a customer actually moves with urgency, it feels almost fictional.

Some days sales feels athletic.
You’re sprinting.
Following up.
Circling back.
Updating the forecast.
And the customer?
Parked.
Handbrake on.
Big time inertia.

Just.. stunning. A must watch.
One of the greatest Israel / Palestine argument you will ever hear.
And by none of other than Charlie Kirk.
What an incredible loss to the world.
Rest in Peace Charlie 🪽
May his memory be a blessing 🕯️

Not ONE arrest. Not ONE.
Professional periods cramps take over Eaton Centre — the busiest mall in 🇨🇦 — during a family-friendly light show.
Toronto Police didn't make ONE arrest.
It's the "Free Palestine Activist" exception to the law.
I call it the "Canada is Toast" law.

Is Olivia Chow an antisemite?
She's worse than that, actually: she's completely indifferent to acts of antisemitic intimidation and violence in the city she purports to govern.
She doesn't give a shit.

These👇thugs are violating multiple laws with impunity while chanting for an "intifada revolution," i.e. terrorist violence against Jews.
If the authorities were the least bit serious about "zero tolerance" for antisemitism, they would throw the book at these haters by immediately arresting and charging them under:
- The Ontario Trespass to Property Act, with prosecutors seeking fines of $10,000 under 2(1)(b) of the Act for each offender; plus large damage awards to the property owner under 12(1).
- Mischief under Criminal Code 403(1)(c) and (d), as well as 403(4.1) related to "mischief (that) is motivated by bias, prejudice or hate." Prosecutors should pursue these as indictable offences to maximize deterrence, and to ensure that foreign nationals who are convicted would become criminally inadmissible to remain in Canada.
- Causing a disturbance under Criminal Code 175(1)(a)
- "Membership in an unlawful assembly," and concealing identity in an unlawful assembly (see the masks many are wearing) under Criminal Code Section 66.
- Possibly "taking part in a riot," and concealing identity in a riot under Criminal Code Section 64.
This list is by no means exhaustive. For example, police should investigate whether any of the groups involved in organizing these events are proscribed terrorist entities.
At the very least, this approach would demonstrate that this kind of hate motivated social disorder will not be tolerated, reducing significantly the chances of re-offending.
It would also:
- Expose individuals who are charged, which should lead to consequences for their employment. Many are afraid to show their faces (obscured by kheffiyehs and fake covid masks,) while they break the law to spread their hate. So charge them and put their names in the public domain. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
- Help to identify criminals who are or should be on watch lists for potentially violent offences.
- Identify foreign nationals who are breaking the law while in Canada illegally, engaging CBSA to commence removal proceedings. Foreign nationals on visas would become criminally inadmissible for permanent residency, and subject to removal, if convicted of indictable offences.
(N.B. The New South Wales Legislature plans to identify "intifada" chants as hate speech this week. The police chiefs of Metropolitan London and Manchester have also announced that charges will be laid against those calling for "intifada" in protests in the UK.)
