I had a great time talking with my boy @AdrielTweets here about the sacraments and infant baptism as a corollary of covenant theology. Give it a listen!
byFaith Online@PCAByFaith7h
In this episode of What Christians Believe, Derek Rishmawy is joined by Adriel Sanchez to explore how covenant theology shapes the Reformed understanding of the sacraments, especially baptism and infant baptism. ow.ly/xyp05100B2G

We’re releasing a Reformation Day present a couple days early. Tune in this Thursday @solamediaorg. We had a great time with @WesleyLHuff. Wes is the real deal. And he was more than generous with his time, a pleasure to work with, and a fun hang around the office.

I think I’ve forgotten how to talk about and share things online that are personally stirring and moving, but I found this conversation with Joel Beeke to be astounding and a joy to listen to.

On the latest Everyday Pastor episode, @LigonDuncan asked @JoelBeeke what we can learn from the Puritan Thomas Goodwin. Don’t miss Dr. Beeke’s answer. One of the most special moments we’ve ever had on the show.

We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

If this is true then how do you explain τετέλεσται tattooed on so many dude’s forearms and chests, huh?

Does τετέλεσται (“It is finished”) in John 19:30 mean “Paid in Full” Based on Tax Receipts?

Tolkien gave up writing this project because he said that a new evil, focused on a secret cult of men who are fanboys of Sauron, was too cynical and cast doubt on the victory and eucatastrophe of LOTR. Picking up what Tolkien decidedly put down is quite a choice.

Ok I made a blunder here. I was thinking of 'A New Shadow,' Tolkien's potential sequel to LOTR. I didn't realize this was Colbert's project that covers the Barrow-wights and Tom Bombadil.

FRANCE: Rioters have set fire to the historic City Hall in Limoges, France, causing its roof to burn and its clock tower to collapse. Built in 1883, the 143 year old landmark survived 2 world wars and was designated a protected historical monument in 1975. It’s gone now.

I appreciate that the topics on Interesting Times are still interesting. But I’m still eager for Douthat to get his own podcast again.

This is subjective but … Name three PERFECT movies. No argument. No explanation. Just three flicks you think are perfect. Here's mine: (1) Raiders of the Lost Ark (2) The Empire Strikes Back (3) The Sting (1973)

I’ve been reading these by @MichaelHorton_ on my train journeys recently, and maybe it’s just that I don’t have my ear to the ground anymore, but they are far too prescient & well-thought out for me to have taken 2 years to hear of them! Spread the word!

Moving the timeline of MN to a 1950s post-war England, does that mean that The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe will be in the 1990s?

I have a theory that Aslan will have a dual-tracked voice featuring tones of Ciaran Hinds and Meryl Streep woven together as a broader commentary on the divine masculine and feminine. Don't agree with it, but they're still keeping something about Aslan from us.
