1988: That's Life
"These children would have been killed by the Nazis."
Mate. There is a reason. Everyone goes and gets half cut at bars along the way anyway, "supporting local business", the don't need to be on it at the game as well.
Petition to request that this rancid piece of dogmeat swim the channel without assistance to learn the true value of the RNLI.
'I wanted to put that right.'
After his comments about the RNLI and migration were taken out of context, @NickFerrariLBC clarifies what he really meant.

Ffs! You genuinely couldn’t make this up.
Around 50 “patriots” reportedly descended on a Portsmouth hotel after seeing a group of brown young men and apparently assuming they were asylum seekers.
They were the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team.
They are here to play cricket against England. 🏏
And this illustrates exactly what happens when you whip people into a permanent state of suspicion and tell them that strangers with brown faces are evidence of an invasion.
See brown people 👉assume migrants 👉mobilise masked men.
This isn’t protecting Britain.
It’s making Britain a frightening place for perfectly legitimate visitors to Britain.
Perhaps establish who somebody is before surrounding their hotel.
A massive ‘well done’ to the 50-ish patriots who protested outside the Marriott Hotel in Portsmouth last night after spotting a number of brown people present at the venue. Just one small problem however - it was the Pakistan Under-19 Men’s Cricket Squad who are currently on tour and taking on our own Under-19 team in Arundel today.

The GP fit note system that allows young people to sign off work sick with conditions such as ADHD after brief consultations is “insane”, the government adviser Alan Milburn has said
Family doctors issued nearly one million sick notes signing people off work with mental health issues last year, according to NHS data. GPs are responsible for deciding if people should be off work. Those given the notes are able to claim sick pay and in some cases qualify for welfare payments
Milburn, a former Labour cabinet minister who is conducting a review into youth unemployment, said the system was “ruining the life chances of young people” by leaving them “stuck” on benefits
He made the comments during a trip to the Netherlands where fewer than 5 per cent of young people are not in education, employment or training (Neets) compared with 13.6 per cent in the UK
He said: “The fit note thing is just bloody insane. You get a fit note. You enter the welfare system. We know that once you enter the welfare system, you get a health and disability benefit
“The stickiness kicks in. You stand a 50 per cent chance of being on a health and disability benefit if you get it today in 15 years’ time. Everybody talks about the fiscal disaster. Fine, but most importantly, it’s a life chances disaster because we’re ruining the life chances of these young people.”
Milburn added: “Just because you’ve got a condition, or even just because you’ve got the diagnosis, shouldn’t mean you aren’t able to work. What is it that we need to do to stop the notion that just because you either self-identify or are identified as having a condition, that automatically means you’re not able to participate in the Labour market.”

In Budapest, a rock has resurfaced in the Danube.
It's called the Rock of Starvation - Ínség-szikla. For centuries, its return has meant one thing: the river is so low the mills fall silent, crops fail, and hunger follows.
It surfaced in 1616. In 1718. In 1811, 1830, 1842, 1868. In 1947.
And now it's back, in 2026.
For the first time in 44 years, Hungary has shut down all but one of its Danube-cooled nuclear reactors.
A nearby farmer puts it plainly: "I've lost nearly 50% of my harvest, and it could hit 70%. Since I started farming after the end of communist rule, I've never seen a catastrophe like this."
The rock is a warning.
It's been delivering it for 400 years.
We know exactly what it says, but we haven't been listening.
Wasn't Starmer "things will get worse before they get better", which was/is accurate? Asking for patience whilst they tried to fix the economy from Trussenomics is not such a ridiculous ask. Arguably the decisions Burnham is making wouldn't be possible without Starmers help no?
We have to be contemplating multiple countries boycotting FIFA
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: FIFA has confirmed that no disciplinary action was taken against Leandro Paredes after the World Cup final. 🇦🇷
Paredes was initially reported as having been sent off by referee Slavko Vinčić for appearing to push Gavi by the throat.
However, the red card was removed from the official record shortly afterwards, with FIFA confirming to BBC Sport that no sanction was ultimately issued.
