Happy National Black Cat Day! 🐈⬛🩷
Today, let's continue to spread the word: the only bad luck following black cats, or any cat, is harmful superstition. All of us who are lucky enough to know and love a black cat have so many reasons to celebrate today!
But to truly protect cats of any coat color, we need to address the greatest threat they face: archaic policies rooted in misinformation that put their lives at risk. Today, we hope you'll join us to Share the Truth about cats and the policies that help, not harm: alleycat.org/ShareTheTruth

Black cats are amazing and, as Welsh folklore tells us, bring good luck to the home:
"A black cat, I’ve heard it said,
Can charm all ill away,
And keep the house wherein she dwells
From fever’s deadly sway"

🖤Keep them inside, especially at night!
🖤POST A PICTURE of your little panther in the comments to remind people how adorable & sweet they are!
