Trump's affordability message: "You could even come to Mar-a-Lago. You'll be my guest. The problem is that for $5,000 the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that! No, don't go there. It's not a good place if you're price conscious."

He may have been the best thrower I ever saw. Just a beautiful ball.

Hard to beat the Lions without scoring more. Will Wentz have to save us with 3 TD’s in the fourth quarter like he did against the Packers…

Happy Birthday to the late U.L. Washington; Former @MLB player U.L. Washington was born and raised in Stringtown, Oklahoma ( population 419), where he lived much of his life and ultimately passed away in March 2024—He was born in Stringtown, Oklahoma, on October 27, 1953, as one of 11 children. Notably, “U.L.” was his legal given name rather than initials ( a detail he frequently explained to curious fans)—He attended Stringtown High School, graduating in 1971, and went on to play college baseball for one season at Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. He was later inducted into the Murray State College Hall of Fame in 2016—Washington was famously known for playing with a toothpick in his mouth. This trademark look began in Oklahoma and the minor leagues, where he used to chew on blades of green Bermuda grass because he loved the smell of a fresh field. When he transitioned to playing on the @Royals artificial turf, he substituted the grass for a toothpick—Lacking attention from professional scouts in rural Oklahoma, Washington reportedly hitchhiked from Oklahoma to a tryout camp in Kansas City to secure his roster spot with the @Royals —Following an 11-year @MLB career with the @Royals @Montreal_Expos & @Pirates he remained tied to his home state. He passed away from cancer at the age of 70 on March 2, 2024, in Atoka, Oklahoma; 10-27-1953 to 3-3-2024……

It was pretty fierce in Iowa, too. It was my senior year of high school and we were in the playoffs. It was 10 degrees that Monday night and just about every game either moved to the UNI-Dome or Dakota Dome in South Dakota.
Vikings at Lions Week 1968 - You think he 2026 Viking offense is dull? Here is the 1968 squad - Joe Kapp throws just 10 times (completes 6, but 3 to the other team!). But the famed Purple People Eater defense holds DET to 131 yds and 6 points in the win.

Back is Puckett,
he's at the fence,
he leaps up ...
he caught it!
Oh, what a catch!
Kirby Puckett made one of the greatest defensive plays in #WorldSeries history on this date in 1991.
What are some of the other all-time great defensive plays in World Series history?
