One thing that would have a lot of impact in making remote learning more effective would be funding second screens for all teachers.

Anyone’s governing board decided not to open on 1st June? The decision is theirs as the NGA have reminded them this week. Just wondered if any have done it.
Retweets welcome.

Hi all,
Don‘t forget we’re expecting all of you in the Academy tomorrow. You will be self-distancing in your class rooms, putting up displays, marking and planning for next year. Those who share classrooms should probably wrap a scarf around their heads, or something.
Thanks x

Been asking for help from govt all day. I am angry, frustrated and scared. I’m being asked to make life and death decisions for my own and other’s families. I have received great support from @halfon4harlowMP but what will it take for govt to be leaders? Scared to answer this

Maybe the gov should set up learning channels via the bbc red button as there’s no sport. They could use Ofsted inspectors to devise lessons (as there’re such experts on all things learning). I’m sure there would be a queue of edutwitter celebs lining up as wannabe presenters.

Another ‘re-Tweet’ the heck out of this, please:
You should only send your child to school on Monday if you have to, because your work is critical to our COVID-19 response.
If you are able to keep your child at home, you should.

Friend's headteacher telling all staff to be in and TAs to do displays on Monday. Seriously? What are we not getting?!

Can you help me please @Ofstednews I have been critical of you but am aware I could be judging unfairly. Can you tell me what Ofsted has done specifically to help schools in the last week. I don't want to be terrible to you if I don't know the facts.
Lots of love AR.

Can I just double check. Schools with kids in next week. You are doing everything you can to maintain 2m social distancing now that you’ve got fewer kids in the same space aren’t you? I know it seems difficult & alien but it’s essential. Teachers’ & school leaders’ lives matter.

We’re closed
But not yet
And not completely
We’re open from Monday but only for a few of you
No not sure which ones of you yet
But we’re open over Easter
But not for all of you
Make sure you are social distancing except for when you’re in your school surrounded by staff and chn – at South West, England
