The turnout at recent home sporting events across Harare, in different sporting disciplines has reaffirmed one thing, Zimbabweans have a genuine love for sport.
A massive congratulations to our Zimbabwe Sables on an incredible and hard-fought 36–33 victory over Namibia today!
Playing our first international match at this historic venue in over two decades, you showed true determination, resilience, and the unmistakable spirit of Zimbabwe. From our clinical execution at the set pieces, precision in the lineouts, to the decisive tactical kicking under pressure, it was a masterful display of rugby. Holding off a fierce comeback to secure this win right at the wire has made the entire nation immensely proud.
Thank you to the technical team, the players, and the thousands of fans who came out to lift our boys today. This is a monumental step forward for Zimbabwean rugby.
Keep flying the flag high, Sables! The journey continues.
Under Zimbabwean law, the deceased's debts are generally payable from the estate and beneficiaries are not personally responsible unless they have a separate legal obligation.

A tragic accident should not be turned into religious propaganda. A crucifix fell and killed a priest, that is what the available evidence shows.

Being in love with the business is easy.
Everything is new. Every win feels significant. Every customer feels like proof.
Being in life with it is harder.
The wins feel smaller. The losses feel heavier. The process feels repetitive.
And just like a marriage that requires date nights and intentional effort to stay alive, the business requires the same.

🔸Not just that. Owning a car does not mean that I’m responsible for any traffic violations committed by any person who drives that car. The Road Traffic Act criminalizes driving not ownership. If my friend is driving my car and commits a violation, why are you texting me alleging I’ve committed a crime and have to pay a fine?

This new traffic system truly hallucinates big time. I have checked with three colleagues so far and it records that the four of us have violated traffic rules four times each. It has to be challenged.

🔸What’s the legal basis of this new traffic fine system? How does the machine formulate a reasonable suspicion that an offence has been committed as required by law? Can the police outsource their constitutional obligation to police crime to a machine? What legal framework governs its use and operation? If a person challenges the legality of the fine and does not admit guilt, what legal mechanism will be used to oppose the challenge? Given that it’s AI, to what extent does it hallucinate?
We need new leaders.🇿🇼

On what statutory basis is the Smart Traffic Management System (STMS) imposing camera-generated fines?. Enforcement must be grounded in law, not simply a press statement.
