More than USD$9 billion were pledged at today’s conference in support of Pakistan’s flood recovery efforts.
I thank the international community for this example of solidarity in action.
My heart broke when I saw the devastation of the floods in Pakistan last year.
But the Pakistani people showed heroic humanity.
The international community must match their resilience with investments to strengthen their communities for the future.
