Rahman has spent decades creating music that transcends religious and cultural boundaries.
one of the most remarkable things about Rahman is that he has never confined himself to a single musical tradition. His work draws from Carnatic and Hindustani music, Sufi traditions, Western classical music, electronic music, and folk traditions.
What particularly bothers me about this kind of debate is the possibility that we stop discussing artistic merit and start imposing religious boundaries on who is allowed to tell our cultural stories. sad

Some people just won’t get it, there’s nothing anyone can do about it. Something’s people just have to learn on their own, and you need to let them learn the hard way sometimes unfortunately.

I hate that the perception was opposite to the intent of the makers mostly. I appreciated that the team clarified that their intent wasnt to endorse toxicity 🙏🏻
still saying this. You do you Rashmika 🌝
It’s actually funny that I cannot stand either of them on their own, but they’re a little bearable together (read until they begin speaking). Facade or not, they’re actually made for each other DESPITE all the glaring problem signs, but again, nvm two questionable peas in the same pod.
Good, Bad or Ugly- its upon them to navigate 😴😴😴

#Vetrimaaran about Lip sync issues and process in his films:
“Everybody asks me about lip sync. I ask my team, ‘Do you want sync or story..?’ I choose story.. Someone once asked me about my process. I don’t have any process. I just try to be myself. I like to edit, and sometimes, even after films are released, I keep editing them.. I always choose to cast actors who fit the characters I have in mind, rather than conventionally choosing actors who could conveniently play those roles..”
