Make customers pre-pay $20 on a credit card if your establishment keeps getting hit. Most customers probably know about this and won’t have a problem doing that, I wouldn’t. Then they can’t dine and dash on you you just add the regular charges and tip to the credit card number you have. File a police report and keep your security cameras going.

An 82-year-old North Carolina woman survived 8 days trapped in her bathtub with nothing but pure grit, and her kitty for moral support.
Joan Rivet was in the process of getting ready for bed at her North Carolina home in early June when she had an accident that made her rethink her living situation.
Joan stumbled and fell, landing in her bathtub, a place she would get to know too well, in the following days. The impact from the fall, sadly, injured Joan's back to such a degree that she was unable to pull herself up and out of the tub.
This was the beginning of an 8 day ordeal that would test Joan's resolve and require her to dig deep for strength.
Unfortunately, Joan had left her phone in the bedroom so she could not call for help. Joan did scream for help on multiple occasions, but her pleas for help would go unanswered.
However, Joan is a fighter with zero quit in her. During her ordeal, Joan knew hydration was going to be a defining factor in her survival. Despite the injury to her back, Joan was able to turn on the faucet with her foot and splash the water into her mouth.
Fortunately, Joan did not have to do this on her own. Her faithful cat Phoebe stayed with her throughout, providing her company and comfort.
The days were long and hard, with Joan drifting in and out of consciousness. When asked how she was able to keep her fighting spirit up, Joan explained, "I stayed away from the dark side of the whole situation because once you go down there, how do you get out?" (Well said, Joan.)
Thankfully, Joan's brother was clocking that something must be wrong when Joan failed to answer his weekly calls to her. On June 10th, her brother, who lives in Georgia, contacted Joan's neighbors.
When Joan's neighbors could not get a response, a call to the Haywood Sheriff's Department went out.
Deputies arrived at her home and gained entry. Once inside, they discovered Joan in a semi conscious state in her bathtub.
Joan was hospitalized for severe dehydration and bed sores. She would ultimately require a short stay at a rehab center, but she was alive. Joan had made it out of 8 days of painful isolation and came out the other side. Kitty Phoebe also survived the ordeal.
Now Joan believes it may be time to move to Georgia, where she would be closer to family. Joan hopes that her ordeal will serve as a reminder to check in on our elderly loved ones.

CENTCOM Statement on Recently Fallen, Missing U.S. Service Members
TAMPA, Fla. — On July 17, two U.S. service members in Jordan were killed in action as U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing.
Four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They have since been discharged. Other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty.
Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.

This is how you clean up the judiciary.
Justice Clarence Thomas has ordered Judge Kathleen Williams to recuse herself from the Trump vs IRS case. Thomas, who oversees her circuit, called it a clear conflict of interest and warned that refusing to step down could lead to severe consequences — including removal from the bench.
Williams was apparently too close to the case, too connected to the people involved, and too eager to stay on it. Thomas isn’t playing games. He stepped in and put a stop to it before she could do more damage.
This is the kind of accountability we’ve been waiting for. Judges who have obvious conflicts and still try to stay on high-profile cases against President Trump are finally getting called out.
Clarence Thomas is doing what others should have done years ago — protecting the integrity of the court by removing biased judges from cases where they have no business being.
Williams now has a choice: recuse herself or face the consequences.
