Finished Marx's Inferno, 5/5. This is such a great book. A non-fiction book that is a page turner. It also shows how and why Marx was the inheritor of a socialist tradition and the "Virgil" to lead the Proletariat from Hell and Purgatory to the Social Republic. (1/3)

final prediction for tomorrow. The NYT/Siena and Atlas intel polls convinced me that this is likely results with Mississippi and Louisiana being close enough to go to recount or coin flip. Also house would be like 260-280 Dem.

Dems hit 52% of their 2022 midterm vote and 29% of their 2024 vote. Rep hit 24% of their 2022 midterm vote and 17% of their 2024 vote.

Now one of the major convention goals for DSA is to pass an even stronger Anti-Zionist resolution. One where this bullshit won't happen again!

All I can say is some comrades don't take Palestine as seriously as they say.
BREAKING: DSA's National Political Committee has narrowly voted *not* to force its Los Angeles chapter to unendorse mayoral candidate Nithya Raman a day before the election. The vote was 13 in favor of unendorsement and 14 against unendorsement.

Alright some election predictions for senate two days out. Image 1: There is no error in polls its likely a +7-9 type of night. Many races thought not possible to win are with 1 to 3 points from winning for the dems. Kansas being a complete toss up and decided a few days later.

Image 3: What I think if polls are underestimating Dems by 2 points, likely a D+11-13 election. Louisiana and Mississippi are to close to call and takes days to count.

Image 4: Insane generational shift this is a D+15-18 type of year. Dems are being underestimated and Reps are extremely unmotivated to vote on election day. Montana independent more likely to win but toss up due to calculus. Dems are likely to think they may have FDR's # in 2028

Raúl Castro is literally a 91 retiree. This dumb fuck probably still thinks it’s Fidel Castro in charge
BREAKING: Trump tells me there is a 0% chance a Castro is in charge of Cuba when he leaves office. Then he gave me a timeline and military plan: “Communist Regime in Cuba is not going to last much longer...Look at what we did in Venezuela" “We’re going to finish off [Iran] and then move on to the other one. We have Marco looking at it extremely closely. His parents are from Cuba. That will work out DEFINITELY within two years.” The DOJ has already indicted for Raúl Castro and Florida has just issued an arrest warrant. Could a Maduro style raid on the Communists be next? Free Cuba.

Either nationally Republican voters are under motivated to vote in general be it early voting or day of voting or some how they all come out election day.

Crazy enough to think he decides to do on Monday cause why not or on election night
BREAKING: Trump administration plans to strike Iran directly after next week's US midterm elections, with CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper briefing Trump in a rare in-person meeting on military options at the White House today, per WSJ. Senior US officials say Cooper rarely briefs Trump in person, unless a significant military operations is to be carried out shortly. It followed a Wednesday session in which the military officers met Vice President JD Vance. Sen. Chris Murphy, who says he has been briefed on some of the classified planning, called the plans "insane." "It will lead to devastating escalation and the likely destruction of our commitment to the rule of law," he says.

Not surprised elections do tighten or show where voters are swaying as Election Day comes closer. If anyone thinks this is because of NPC vote or internal DSA stuff should go touch grass and go to an internet addiction rehab.
Karen Bass has erased Nithya Raman’s 11-point lead in the L.A. mayor’s race. The two are now tied, a new Berkeley IGS/L.A. Times poll shows. It's a dramatic shift with Election Day just days away. latimes.com/california/story…
