From Argentina, with love
Who said AI only generates slop? Second experiment. This time I wanted to see how voice, image and edit could build a climate around Borges’ “Ajedrez”. Fifteen cuts. What do you think? Stack: Opus 5.5 (x-high), @Paper (editorial), @midjourney.

I must be getting old, you could literally put a propulsion system on a Corolla do the same stunt. 🙄🙄🙄

Sometimes a demo is simply to remind the world that your competition has no desire to dream -- and no ability to evolve.

excitement guaranteed
HERE IT IS. The Next Generation Roadster developed by SpaceX and Tesla! There is a fan-suction system at the bottom of the car that can pull up to 2 gs allowing it to stick upside down. It just flipped UPSIDE DOWN with cold gas thrusters and landed. HOLY SHIT.

Driving is completely solved in a mid-priced car. We live in such incredible times.
I don't think I know a single person who owns a Tesla and drives anymore. They use full self driving 90%+ of the time. Incredible to think that our kids are going to grow up in a future where all they will know is autonomous driving

The internet runs on email. Now (along with buying things) your Bot can do anything you can do online, for you. You can even just tag @bot on X, and your Bot will set it all up for you. If you get stuck on anything let us know and we will fix it.
Grok Bot now has its own email. Bot can use it to sign up for services, contact businesses for you, or schedule time with someone.

As little product as possible
deleting the product it's funny how you can sometimes tell if a team culture is dysfunctional just by looking at how their app is laid out. behind every feature, or tab in a sidebar likely lies a PM or someone responsible for an OKR. the problem is when individual performance is measured by these metrics. it becomes the singular focus of the responsible person to make those numbers look good, since it determines whether they get rewarded or axed, even if it comes at the detriment of the overall quality of the product. this is why you mostly see features get added, but rarely removed. if you own a feature, then it being removed feels like an aura loss. this is even worse in the agentic era when the cost to add features has become so low. you can simply will a new feature into existence overnight and add another tab. but users will notice that you ship your org chart. teams that make people play silly games under the guise of performance management rarely build great products. to build a great product you need to first fix your culture

David’s design tweets are always the highlight of my day. He finds elegance and purpose and shares it with us. Today he shares a miss, just as insightful as always.
#designoftheday Jony Ive & Marc Newson’s Ferrari Luce EV is a fascinating example of notable designers completely missing the mark. The surfaces are clean, details obsessively resolved & the reduction admirable, but where is the Ferrari? Its restrained, almost appliance-like form suppresses the visual drama, tension & emotional excess that have long made a Ferrari irresistible. For a marque built on speed, passion & visual bravado, the Luce looks surprisingly timid. shorturl.at/aMm11
