Fred Wilson: "VCs are a service provider to entrepreneurs. We ride on their coattails. And so even though venture capital requires a sophisticated understanding of finance, technology, markets, strategy, it's ultimately a people business. Learning to be a successful venture capitalist is about learning how to work with people. A particular breed of people who are at the same time charismatic, brilliant, frustrating, anxious, and fragile. And our job is to meet them right there where they are, and support them with all our might."

Today we’re releasing a new version of Flipchat we call “Chat Based Spaces”. It’s the format of a Space – with Speakers and Listeners – but conversations are chat based and long lived. And if you’re a Listener and have something you want to say, you can pay the Listener Message fee to get your message into the chat. Flipchat is the best place to chat and debate online, where the conversations go beyond one liners and live on like a group chat.

You can now share rooms directly to social or as a link! We'd love to see how you use share links and anything else you think might be a helpful tool for sharing. Drop your rooms below so others can easily find and join!
