still unbelievable seeing over 35K people watch a documentary video i directed and produced at the Data + AI summit 2026. had such a great time collaborating with @elisehollowed, Tim, Jesse and the @databricks team last weekend to bring this together!

had to do this a couple of times for some of the design candidates i interviewed at CodeRabbit. went further to take personal calls for those who reached out for feedback! it really doesn’t cost much to be a genuinely good person. people are going through a lot!
A random act of kindness I like to show while interviewing candidates for a role, is to extend grace. If I see you’re getting flustered, anxious or uneasy, I’ll calmly indulge you to take a deep breath, take a water break, even turn off your cam and get yourself back for a minute or two. I think it’s something that’s absent in a number of interview conversations, almost like (some) recruiters don’t have the patience for that or see your flustering as simply not being competent. 🤷🏾‍♀️

so goooooddd!!! 🤩🤲🏽
Introducing Showroom, an app that lets you see your designs in every mockup at once, not one after the other. Drop in your Photoshop mockups, add images or videos, adjust layer properties, export a folder or a video. All in your browser, your files never leave your computer.

you've got mail! figuring out who would be part of this first cohort was really tough. we had friends and people we knew were incredibly talented, but had to discipline ourselves to be very objective! one of these days, perhaps i will write about how we evaluated submissions.
Psst: cohort selections are in! Go check your mail cc @codemathics

one of my pain about arc browser winding up isn't because i don't get their point, it is more on the fact that i left everything else and had to relearn and train my mental model around it. it just sucks to go back to something else in such a short time!

ai is taking our jobs, but we never got the memo it’d also take our browser.

news like these hurts me. i mean, can’t say i am surprised, but it doesn’t hurt any less.
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026. That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community. Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward. We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how: · Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly. · Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact. · Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security. · The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional. Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

Hi, it's Darshita. I am a designer. And I'm pitching myself in public 'cause I'm done with a year full of anxiety. Everyone says design is dead and AI killed it. But the real parasite was hiding in plain sight. So here's my film, DESIGN IS DEAD. She's bold, fearless and very PINK 💖 Hiring? My DMs are open.

my mantra! it’s simple, just tell them, cost absolutely nothing. 😃
personal rule: if i think something kind about someone, i tell them. it costs you nothing and might make their whole day. thinking about someone doesn't do anything stuck in your head. send it.

whew, tell me about it!
We’re finally seeing the tail of reading 178 applications for CC Fund. 🎉 I will say, my goodness, we have to get better at showing we care enough to read and work through the slop AI generates. There are far too many “case studies” that are cognitive overload on steroids. Or claims that are unfounded and it’s clear you accepted whatever AI made up for you. Whew.

If we only use AI to make the things that we already make, just faster, then we're definitely missing out on the most interesting part. From my talk at @lennysan’s Summit, here are four ideas for raising the ceiling, not just the floor: - Have a point of view [5:38] - Encode your standards into the machine [9:07] - Don't confuse done with good [12:21] - Unleash creativity and artistry [16:19] Full talk here: youtu.be/GLvFTMtw4Jk?si=-5Ts…

i follow this young public preacher on IG, his name is Jesse Samuel Ngoma, who publicly speaks about Jesus unperturbed by what bystanders call him. i tear up whenever i see how he changes lives and boldly proclaim his faith regardless of any obstacles that comes his way.
