Many “smart” people are just people who had to deal alone with many problems since early in life.

i worked on chat bots for years. my experience is that most people do not want an empty text box and get stage fright. they don’t know what they can say or do, there are no UX hints to help. LLMs are a big deal but I doubt every app is going to become chat. people are visual.

1/ most apps will start with a text box, kinda like google, which will be combination of search, actions, and questions

AI should do boring stuff, not creative stuff. I *like* doing the creative stuff.

Founders generally LOVE doing product. It's their happy space, and they want to get involved as much as possible. Founders often hate doing sales, which is ironic as founders are often much better at sales than they think. Understanding the problem, history and vision.

The job of any great UI is to support a great UX. Too many people think great UI is purely eye-candy, but they're wrong. Like my good friend Merriam Webster always says...

I’ve been seeing more and more people bemoaning the widespread use of React lately. Wishing for something else to come along. Don’t forget: the underlying tech is HTML! Treat React as just a tool for generating and manipulating HTML and you will have a much better time with it.

Anyone else tired from this game we’re playing? If I just do one more project, Update my website, Tweet another tweet, Learn to use Blender, Get promoted, Write an article, Learn to code, Speak at a conference, Work in web3… Then I’ll be safe. Then I can relax.
