Before you spend your crypto today, here are a few things worth knowing. Not every crypto-to-Naira app works the same way, and the little differences can make your life a lot easier. Swipe through. You might just rethink how you spend your crypto. 🚀 #Resolva #Crypto2Naira

System design is changing. A year ago, I would have said system design was about databases, caching, load balancers, and scaling. It still is. But today, more and more systems also call an LLM. Over the past year, I have built several backend projects that power AI features, and I learned fast that AI introduces a whole new set of system design questions: → How do you handle slow model responses? → How do you stream outputs to users? → How do you keep costs under control as you scale? → What happens when the model gets it wrong? If you're a backend engineer, learning AI system design is one of the best moves you can make right now. Here's where I would start: - Grokking the Generative AI System Design: educative.io/courses/generat… - Agentic System Design: educative.io/courses/agentic… And if you want the basics first, I have a video that walks through every important system design concept by scaling one app from 1 to 10 million users: 📺 youtu.be/ikDAN9aDIZg 🍂 Educative's Fall Sale is on: 55% off courses on AI, system design, and more. You code right in the browser, with no setup. #systemdesign #backend #ai #llm #softwareengineering #rust

A huge chunk of Nigerians are just unnecessarily bitter, and it’s honestly exhausting. Building a product and putting it out there takes grit, whether it’s vibe-coded or not. People are genuinely enjoying the Lagos Life game, it’s gaining traction, and that’s literally the whole point of building a product: creating something people actually want to use. Yet, somehow, you have people dismissing it as a game for jobless people, cooking up ridiculous narratives, and turning themselves into conspiracy theorists just to discredit the person behind it. Man, why is it so hard to see someone build something, succeed at it, and simply give them their flowers? The creativity and originality are insane, and the fact that she built something that has people genuinely engaged is a win in itself. Not everything needs to be met with bitterness. Sometimes, just appreciate good work when you see it.
I knew she was a fraud. And the painful thing is Nigerians are easily deceived by these fraudsters. There are currently over 3 games being funded heavily by Konami that has not given them an annual profit of up to $70k yet but your vibecoded trash has made you $100K in a week.

We are sad to announce that Web3Bridge has closed up shop. For the past seven years, Web3Bridge has dedicated itself to training developers from different parts of Africa. It has been an incredible journey for all of us. We have watched people walk through our doors with little more than curiosity and leave as developers, builders, founders and contributors to an ecosystem that was still finding its feet. But over the years, we have also seen something else. We have seen the ecosystem change. We have seen the needs of our community change. And we have had to ask ourselves a very important question: Is training developers enough anymore? So, as we cross into our seventh year, we have decided to….. stay tuned.

This cannot be overemphasized, if you are not ready to scale and grow fast do not go and raise venture funding. It is not child’s play and it’s definitely for every business, it looks glamorous when a founder announces they have raised millions of $, what you don’t know is the demands and pressure that comes with raising that type of funding. You no longer work for yourself , you now have a responsibility to your investors.

It’s not a call for perfection and also not a call to ship immediately it works. For financial applications, working might be a setup 😂 You need to understand the flow of how it works and be sure your code isn’t doing unauthorized giveaways.

Finally out of draft after 19 months... We’ve become reasonably good at getting women interested in technology and creating entry points. The harder question is what happens after they get in. Beyond the Hype: From Access to Technical Careers linkedin.com/pulse/beyond-hy…

Nigerians have mastered one particular form of suffering: Having crypto in your wallet and still going through a full Olympic event to turn it into Naira. 😭 Find P2P trader. Check rate. Send crypto. Wait. “Have you received it?” “Please send screenshot.” Refresh bank app. Refresh again. Refresh AGAIN. Meanwhile you're just trying to buy food. 😂 That's why I found Resolva interesting. Crypto → Naira → Bank account. You can send crypto and have the recipient receive Naira directly into their bank account. No P2P Olympics. I had to test this one. @ResolvaHQ useresolva.io

Most meaningful stuff aren’t the hardest.
Sometimes I ask myself why I built @ResolvaHQ after learning/implementing some of the hard stuff in ZK: Polynomial Interpolation, Sumcheck, GKR, FRI, etc Then I remember: Resolva solves a problem I can relate to, and so can many others. Most meaningful stuffs aren’t the hardest

Founders go out Don’t stay indoors all the time , go to a cafe , go to a restaurant, go to a event , visit a founder , move around , talk about your startup everywhere you go , wear your merch while outside , your customers are outside , your potential investor could be at your next event.
