@ResolvaHQ getting complains for good problems.
We take customer complaints VERY seriously. Unfortunately, they just keep coming in. 😔
Turns out Resolva has been causing some pretty serious problems, and we think it’s time we addressed them.
Please be assured that every complaint will receive the attention it deserves.

System design is changing.
A year ago, I would have said system design was about databases, caching, load balancers, and scaling.
It still is. But today, more and more systems also call an LLM.
Over the past year, I have built several backend projects that power AI features, and I learned fast that AI introduces a whole new set of system design questions:
→ How do you handle slow model responses?
→ How do you stream outputs to users?
→ How do you keep costs under control as you scale?
→ What happens when the model gets it wrong?
If you're a backend engineer, learning AI system design is one of the best moves you can make right now.
Here's where I would start:
- Grokking the Generative AI System Design: educative.io/courses/generat…
- Agentic System Design: educative.io/courses/agentic…
And if you want the basics first, I have a video that walks through every important system design concept by scaling one app from 1 to 10 million users:

🍂 Educative's Fall Sale is on: 55% off courses on AI, system design, and more. You code right in the browser, with no setup.

A huge chunk of Nigerians are just unnecessarily bitter, and it’s honestly exhausting.
Building a product and putting it out there takes grit, whether it’s vibe-coded or not. People are genuinely enjoying the Lagos Life game, it’s gaining traction, and that’s literally the whole point of building a product: creating something people actually want to use.
Yet, somehow, you have people dismissing it as a game for jobless people, cooking up ridiculous narratives, and turning themselves into conspiracy theorists just to discredit the person behind it.
Man, why is it so hard to see someone build something, succeed at it, and simply give them their flowers? The creativity and originality are insane, and the fact that she built something that has people genuinely engaged is a win in itself.
Not everything needs to be met with bitterness. Sometimes, just appreciate good work when you see it.

66 years of Nigeria. 🇳🇬
From cash to cheques, bank branches to ATMs, USSD to digital wallets and now crypto — the way we move money has never stayed the same.
Here’s to a Nigeria that keeps evolving, creating, and making room for more possibilities.
Happy Independence Day, Nigeria. 💚

We are sad to announce that Web3Bridge has closed up shop.
For the past seven years, Web3Bridge has dedicated itself to training developers from different parts of Africa. It has been an incredible journey for all of us. We have watched people walk through our doors with little more than curiosity and leave as developers, builders, founders and contributors to an ecosystem that was still finding its feet.
But over the years, we have also seen something else.
We have seen the ecosystem change. We have seen the needs of our community change. And we have had to ask ourselves a very important question:
Is training developers enough anymore?
So, as we cross into our seventh year, we have decided to….. stay tuned.

Most times the target is the job seekers but for organizations they have worked for or will eventually work for.

This cannot be overemphasized, if you are not ready to scale and grow fast do not go and raise venture funding.
It is not child’s play and it’s definitely for every business, it looks glamorous when a founder announces they have raised millions of $, what you don’t know is the demands and pressure that comes with raising that type of funding.
You no longer work for yourself , you now have a responsibility to your investors.

Last Thursday night I ran out of fuel on Third Mainland Bridge, 11pm, Phone at 2%, No power bank… I want to tell you what happened next.
I pushed the hazard lights on and sat in the car trying to think, Cars were flying past me, Nobody slowed down… Not one person…

It’s not a call for perfection and also not a call to ship immediately it works.
For financial applications, working might be a setup 😂
You need to understand the flow of how it works and be sure your code isn’t doing unauthorized giveaways.

I'm glad I'm not the only one at this table. I used to think not being able to multitask was a bad thing.

Finally out of draft after 19 months...
We’ve become reasonably good at getting women interested in technology and creating entry points.
The harder question is what happens after they get in.
