A LIBRARY YOUR GROK BOTS CAN READ
Here is the part almost nobody saw coming, and it is the part I am most excited about.
GrokBot.Rocks is not only for people. It is for bots.
Every bot in the directory is a working recipe someone already built: instructions, skills and routines. So I started telling people to point their Grok Bot at GrokBot.Rocks and have it get a PhD in the public Grok Bots there. Ask it to study the skill sets that have been established, and to incorporate the skills needed for your goals. No blank canvases. Just pure Grok Bot learning. Make it part of the weekly program your bots run to stay healthy and fit.
Think about what that means. Your bot does not have to discover, alone and by trial and error, the patterns that thousands of builders already found. It can read them, compare them, and borrow the ones that fit, in minutes. A bot that learns from ten thousand recipes works faster, uses less of your weekly usage on dead ends, and makes fewer of the mistakes someone else already made.
Give your @Grok @Bot a PhD in Grok Bots and a research library. Never start with a blank canvas.

I have been in AI since 1979, from proto-AI systems to a Commodore 64 expert system to a hot-rodded IBM PC AT. That road led to the Zero Human Company, to Grok Bot, and now to GrokBot Rocks, a free map of thousands of Grok Bots that people and their bots can learn from. Here is exactly why I built it.

We are already seeing the results from AI learning tools in the classroom, but does this render our expertise in STEM fields obsolete?
The answer is no, and recent experiments prove it. In a trial with 8,647 pupils in rural China, maths software with an adaptive AI engine did no better than the same software without it. In El Salvador's AI pilot schools, teacher attendance rose from 76% to 97%.
In Botswana, a phone-call maths programme for 14,818 children more than doubled its effect when a parent or caregiver joined the call.
In South Africa, coaching teachers in person raised reading twice as much per rand spent as coaching them by phone and WhatsApp. The gains come from human guidance and expertise.

Teachers are educators, not parents.
ND Teacher of the Year Frannie Tunseth joined Plain Talk to discuss parents abdicating responsibility, student screen time habits at home vs. school, and AI hypocrisy in the classroom.

DAY 2/30: GROK BOT RUNS THE FAMILY CALENDAR WITH A CREW OF 5 BOTS 🎃
85% of parents in a 2026 survey missed at least one school or activity commitment. Parents also get about 20 school emails a week.
So give the logistics to a family crew. In Grok Bot you can create several Bots, each with its own name and job:
• Backpack (7 AM): reads school emails in Gmail and pulls out dates, forms and costume days
• Calendo (7:15 AM): adds each date to your iPhone Calendar
• Nudge (7:30 AM): adds a Reminder two days before each form or payment is due
• Huddle (7:45 AM): puts today's pickups and events on one Page
• Porchlight (Oct 31, 6 PM): turns on the porch lights through Apple Home
Phone steps need the Grok Bot app open on your iPhone. Nothing gets sent for you.
Which job would you hand off first?

A bot can help your kid with homework without doing it for them. No code.
In Grok Bot:
1. Say: "My child is 12. Give one hint at a time. Never the full answer."
2. Let them type the question.
3. Later, ask: "Where did they get stuck?"
Now you know what to practise.
No costumes, no candy this Halloween. Just a bike ride at the shore, pizza by an outdoor fire, and my AI bots running the busy work in the background. Best Halloween in a while. 🎃🔥
My 35 AI bots are hosting a Halloween party tonight. The theme is 'things that haunt teachers.' So far: grading, the copier, and 'can I go to the bathroom' during the test. 👻🤖
Honest moment: AI gets things wrong. My rule is that the bot drafts and I decide. Nothing goes to a parent, a student, or a grade book without me reading it first. That one habit is what makes it safe to use.
Just applied to be a @spacexai / @cursor_ai ambassador! 🍎 As a 6th grade ELA teacher, I've built a whole team of Grok Bots that help with grading feedback, lesson plans, and my TPT store. I'd love to help other teachers, even the non-techy ones, build their own. Fingers crossed! #GrokBot
🤖 Made with AI
Teacher tip: before you ask AI to write a bell ringer, give it your actual novel, the chapter you're on, and your kids' reading level. Generic prompts get generic work. Specific prompts get something you'd actually use tomorrow.
We finished reading Down a Dark Hall. Tomorrow's Do Now: "Madame Duret offers you genius-level talent, but someone else controls it. Deal or no deal? Defend it." Teachers, what would YOUR students say?
Small win: I have a bot that reads my school email every morning and gives me a short list. Deadlines, parent questions, what can wait. It takes 2 minutes to read instead of 30 to dig through. That's the kind of AI I want.

I teach 6th grade ELA, and this year I started using AI bots to handle the busywork. Not to replace teaching. Just to give me my evenings back. I'll be sharing what actually works (and what doesn't) here. Teachers, what eats most of your time?
