Apparently, some people think Africans don’t eat seafood. I suppose all the oceans surrounding the continent and the rivers running through it must be empty, much like your head, it seems.

They saw how us BLACK AMERICANS love seafood and trynna capitalize off our wave….. nothing new…
When you hate a group of people, you’re incapable of thinking clearly about anything that involves them. Because how did she arrive at this conclusion?!

And we act as if people don’t or can’t change.
I hate the “marry a kind man” or “marry into the right family” talk because it absolves men and their families of accountability and burdens women.
People expect women to overcalculate risks and predict not just how a man will treat them in marriage, but how a husband’s family will treat them if he dies. Men and their families can be irresponsible, cruel, or wicked, yet we will blame the woman’s choice.
It is not a woman’s job to predict post-husband treatment. Men’s families should treat brothers’ wives and children as human beings.
Using one woman’s suffering to lecture other women about better choices is foolish.

Tbh, it’s bigger than the Asda codes. People being genuinely distressed over losing a £30 shopping deal shows how much pressure people are under just to afford basic necessities. Food is a basic necessity, not a luxury.

There should be an app where you upload your bills and bored billionaires swipe right to pay them.
Lol this is not true. Some of us still enjoy and value our own company. I still take myself on restaurant dates, concerts and I’m looking forward to doing a solo trip abroad once I’m done exclusively breastfeeding.

On a final note;
“I don’t want to do xyz because it’s wrong”
And
“I don’t want to do xyz because mummy/daddy will beat me”
Are totally two different things.
Shalom and Maranata! 🙏🏾

It’s not actually supposed to appeal to everyone; it’s supposed to reflect his own taste, interests, and life.
Bottom line is, your home should reflect YOU, not look like a random short-let apartment just because that’s the trending aesthetic. So, it’s perfectly normal that you don’t find his space interesting or appealing. It’s not for you, and that’s the point.
