6 years into programming and still sometimes I feel I don't know anything.
Programming life I guess.
Lost track of how the pieces fit together after a few rounds of building with your agent?
Ask this to get yourself back on track:
"Draw me a simple diagram of the system we built so far, boxes-and-arrows."

i am using @bot for my twitter growth and loving it:
- daily digest of big posts (+ post from my network) to interact with
- weekly digest of meme ideas from viral tech takes
- weekly audit of how i am doing on twitter and what to focus on for more growth
Grokbot is STILL the most underrated content tool right now, and nobody's using it that way
- connect it to X
- ask it to find 10-20 accounts similar to yours
- have it pull their best posts in the last 6 months
- have it turn the themes into questions that you can answer in a voice note
- have it find 100+ viral posts in the B2B space and turn them into templates
- throw your voice notes into a few of the templates
- choose which one sounds best as your next post
one of the most helpful tools for content and marketing research right now

Brain needs a weekly reset just like Claude.
And this is how I do my reset:
Bike ride, broken song and a beautiful view, all with my favorite person (wife).

I have barely opened my laptop this week and did everything through @bot
Planning, routines, coding ... everything.
Bot is really good and I love this new way of working.
Got a bloated test suite?
Try:
"remove all useless tests"

Make sure to couple it with Joel's prompt so it's even more effective.

Replying to @coolprobn
I've ran it a few times now, on a couple of different repos, and it's gotten rid of so much shit.
Just remember to use the additional text...
Review the test suite to identify and remove tests that provide no meaningful value, such as redundant coverage, obsolete assertions, or tests that duplicate stronger existing checks. Ensure important behavior, edge cases, and regression protection remain covered, and explain why each removed test was unnecessary.
I hope this helps to set a standard for skills so all coding agents read from `.agents/skills` instead of .claude/ or .cursor/ separately.
Agent Skills started as an experiment in Claude Code. Many across the industry have come to adopt it, so we at Anthropic found it more fitting to donate it to the @AgenticAIFdn, next to MCP.
Leaving your agent on a long-running task?
Add this to the prompt so it doesn't stall and wait for you:
"use your taste and judgment"
Then ask it to list the calls it made so you can check them when you're back.

Mutation testing for Ruby to make your code more bulletproof. Haven't tried, but hearing good things:

This is why I love Rails integration tests.
They are fast, run full request through the stack and don't need a browser.
I add e2e (browser) tests only when there is JS or other interactive behavior involved.
About to merge a big PR your agent wrote?
Try asking:
"Do a multi-agent audit of that PR"
Each subagent checks a different angle so it's actually ready to merge: correctness, security, perf, tests.

My Reddit post about Prompt Snacks got engagement but drove only 2 visitors to the site.
I left the link out to avoid the self-promotion label while my comment with the link got buried.
How do you balance getting engagement with actually driving traffic to your product?
I will be launching Prompt Snacks to Hacker News later today.
Wish me luck for the huge success and less nasty comments.

Not a bad day at reddit.
Just need to figure out how to plug my app so it gets the attention now 🫣

Sometimes your coding agent's first draft is just okay.
Before you start fixing things yourself, try asking:
"Is that the best you can do?"
h/t @bitsweat for this one.
A small heads-up: try it just once. Repeating it doesn't guarantee better results.

I vibe coded promptsnacks.com on poetry_ui by @mattsolt
poetry_ui is AI native and it showed - the AI made way fewer mistakes than it does in my other projects.
poetry_ui x vibe coding is a good combo ✨
A few days ago, @nateberkopec was wondering if there was a place to share prompting "power phrases"
My first thought was "I can vibe code that in a day"
Well, it took a full weekend.
Introducing Prompt Snacks 🍪

Come share your favorite power phrases!
The stack matters less in the age of AI.
But for those curious, it's built with:
• Rails 8.1, Hotwire, and SQLite
• Deployed with Kamal
@bot wrote most of the code while I reviewed the PRs.
This was my first time working this way, and it was a good exercise.
