I cannot believe the BBC is wheeling out Nicola Sturgeon as a political commentator.
I know they're struggling financially, with millions refusing to pay the TV licence, but this really is scraping the barrel.
Sturgeon's political career ended in disgrace, and after decades campaigning for Scottish independence, she packed her bags and moved to London.
Now she's lecturing us on British politics from the BBC sofa.
You couldn't make it up.

Emma Reynolds, a Labour Treasury Minister, has just said on Camilla Tominey’s show on GB News ‘I don’t think employers are working people, they are companies’
Is she for real?! How gobsmackingly lacking in any real world or business understanding.
My dad - like hundreds of thousands of small business owners - was an employer ….and very much a working person!
Emma Reynolds has just kicked every small business owner in the country and shown Labour’s true colours. This lot are not fit to be in government.

What an astonishingly ignorant remark.
Employers take risks, invest money, create jobs and pay wages.
Perhaps this Labour MP should try running a business and meeting a payroll before lecturing others on who deserves to be called a working person.

Just heard Labour on GB News argue that business owners aren’t ’working people’. Small and media sized businesses are the backbone of our economy and they work their arses off. Labour are a party of public sector former charity staff and civil servants. They don’t have a clue.

Labour's Emma Reynolds told Camilla Tominey this morning that if you have savings, or are a landlord or you are a business owner you are not a working person.
I ran a business, first to arrive, last to leave, accounts at weekends. This just shows how out of touch Labour are.

There you have it folks, the Government saying that employers are not working people
The disdain for those that drive the economy is off the scale

What an insult!!
According to Labour “Employers aren’t working people”
Shocking ignorance. Employers risk their own money, work all hours, sacrifice family time and put everything on the line to create jobs and pay wages.
What exactly does Labour think employers do all day? Sip Bacardis on a beach.
We are doomed, this shows Labour has no idea what it takes to grow an economy or the vital role employers play. That’s why they will keep punishing them.

Buttock-clenching scenes as Treasury Minister Emma Reynolds gets the fake smile wiped off her smug face by Camilla Tominey on GB News
The dizzy cow says Employers are NOT working people, as the car crash gets worse, she says she has a cleaner. She needs sectioning.

Nothing says “down with capitalism” quite like 10,000 comrades paying hundreds of thousands of pounds to watch a millionaire rapper perform in a multimillion-pound venue.

They tax jobs out of existence then whine about the consequences. You cannot hate them enough.
I am deeply concerned that Poundland jobs are at risk here in constituency of #PaisleyRenfrewshireNorth in #Braehead with many constituents impacted.
Poundland has filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators, putting 11,000 jobs at risk across more than 600 stores and distribution centres across the UK.
I welcome PM Andy Burham's support for Poundland workers & like him, I question why the company's owners chose not to accept a viable solvent offer which @UsdawUnion say could have prevented this outcome. This situation was entirely predictable by @Poundland according to the Shop Workers Trade Union who have been monitoring the situation closely for some time.
I have reached out to parliamentary colleagues to explore what options are available to assist and I hope to meet with USDAW trade union who represent Poundland workers to discuss the local issues in more detail.

Laughable.
@UKLabour MPs all worried about the future of Poundland. Lots of posts.
None make any link between three disastrous budgets, £66+ billion tax rises on families and businesses, ultra expensive energy costs and the effects of their policies on households.
It’s not rocket science.

💰 The Government has signed off £240,019 on a violence prevention programme in Jamaica.
This is a Government that…
❌ Borrowed £330bn since July 2024
❌ Announced almost £75bn in tax rises
❌ Keeps telling us there isn’t enough money
Yet somehow there’s £240,000 available for violence prevention in Jamaica.
Meanwhile, the latest Home Office figures show violence against the person offences are UP in England and Wales.
Perhaps tackling rising violence on our own streets should be the priority?
Yet another example of completely backwards priorities…
…and as always, it’s British taxpayers footing the bill.
You couldn’t make it up.

Ed Miliband told Russia that they will not win this war at G20 meeting
Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband told Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the G20 that Russia will not win the war in Ukraine and that Putin should be told he is not winning.
The traditional group photocall was cancelled after around a third of ministers including Miliband refused to pose with Lavrov.
Critics have told Ed to shut up and stop trying to start a fight with Putin when you could not even fight yourself out of a wet paper bag.
