I requested a final FIFA friendly from US Soccer. Didn't get one (a story for another day).
So, I found a local U12 game on 12/16, brought my son and his buddy as ARs. Post-game was pizza & the arcade.
Only I knew that was my last game with the FIFA badge.
And it was perfect.

This appearance meant more than most 🥹❤️
Australian rugby league player Jai Arrow had retired after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease, just two games short of 100 appearances for his club, South Sydney Rabbitohs.
His club secured special approval for him to start their final two regular-season matches, coming off after the opening seconds. Even the opposition clubs backed it.
And this is the moment he reached his 100th.
When you’ve spent years sharing a dressing room with the lads, walking out alongside them becomes something you almost take for granted. I can only imagine what it meant to Jai to pull that shirt on and join them again.
So pleased he got to have this moment with his club and his family.
Class from everyone who made this happen 👏

Thank you, @FOXSports, for not running commercials during referee introductions this year... a nice change from Men's WC in 2022 and the Women's WC in 2023.
I could write a few chapters on some of the games I've had with @keikamara - Honored to share the pitch with you, Kei, and I look forward to your next chapter and our continued friendship. 🫶🏻
