This is the way. Domain expertise matters *a ton* but models are incredibly capable at distilling a bunch of messy domain knowledge. Whatever is in your brain is very important still, but the mechanism by which you convert that into work product has changed immensely. You don’t have to spend a bunch of effort in that mundane middle of converting it and remixing it. If you spill this ‘potential energy’ into a fuzzily legible format (eg a brain dump) and then let models take the wheel (with some smart orchestration) - you will often be amazed at the results
Crazy how much of my workflow now is:
(a) record a 20-minute brain dump into Loom
(b) give the transcript to AI like I would a colleague
(c) have it do the project/powerpoint/analysis
(d) iterate on output like a person
Not replacing anyone's job. Just intelligence that was too expensive previously.

Somewhere, in a universe next to ours, a man who looks very much like Patrick Stewart wakes up from a long strange dream and begins playing the flute.
If these are "Democrat policies" as you stated, why have Republicans not addressed and formulated a solution? Isn't that their job? They hold the legislative power, not the Mayor.
You are criticizing these programs without addressing *how* they should be fixed.
Replying to @cosjef
Are you suggesting Democrat policies will make these Atlanta ghettos cease to exist? Probably best for you to spend a bit of time on Google researching the dozens of federal welfare programs created and supported by Democrats over the decades that these communities are hooked on. Also keep in mind Atlanta Public Schools spend on average $32,000/student every year.

Watching the entire internet grieve Sir Patrick Stewart's death really is something.

“What software systems do you model as being predictably exploitable given a frontier-class AI?”
I think the correct answer rounds to “There is a token budget sufficient to compromise virtually any software system of interest. Only interesting variable is how much.”

Forever grateful to the team of Star Trek: Picard season 3, specifically Terry Matalas, for giving us this true family reunion. Now it will never come again….
Farewell, Sir Patrick 🖖🏻

Try as I might, my words don’t suffice. I am so blessed to have worked with one of the greatest as he purred my name, “Tasha” with such grace. My colleague, my Captain, “no good-byes, just good memories…”#StarTrek @SirPatStew #PatrickStewart

I open-sourced an unofficial web interface for 4th-gen Tablo. Browse channels, recordings, and scheduled shows, and play recordings with seeking and auto-resume. Runs locally with Python and FFmpeg.

This whole switch to Passkeys is such a f**ing disaster. lol. Am I just a complete idiot or do pass keys make everything way more confusing?

WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners.
Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads.
Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was.
Got a root shell.
then found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems.
This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.

In B2B you're almost never trying to reach a lot of people. You're trying to reach eleven people at nine companies, and most ad tech is built to help you do the opposite.
less than five years ago, we were all typing queries into google, scrolling through endless ads, then ten blue links, clicking on websites full of more ads & pop ups, manually digging around for answers, hitting the back button, refining our searches, & repeating the whole process over & over again.
thinking about this makes me want to take a shower. it feels gross.
just imagine where will be in another few years?
